I'm looking into editing settings like Serial Number, Product Number, etc. which are not editable. I'm getting an issue related to serial number & product number mismatch while re-installing windows from the original recovery flash drive I had created when I bought the laptop 3 years ago, although I have never got my motherboard replaced meanwhile.

So I was just going through my laptop's BIOS settings and saw that there isn't much I can change. I would be glad to know how can I change advanced settings (if possible) of my BIOS. I have tried Ctrl + A , Fn + Tab - but it doesn't work. Laptop: HP Omen 15-ax250tx

Firstly, so sorry for creating multiple posts. Secondly, yes I have checked with the HP Support Assistant App and it doesn't align with the serial number and product number shown in the BIOS. I know that there are some softwares to change the serial number, but the articles/forums I found on the internet were many years old, so I don't know if the same tools(I found one known as "HP DMI") work for my laptop or not. Actually I have been experiencing a black screen issue for which I think I'll have to reset my windows. So this mismatch came into my notice recently when I wanted to reset my laptop using the Recovery pendrive I had created 3 years ago when I had bought my laptop. But when I inserted the USB Pendrive into my laptop, it said that the serial no. and product no. of the Recovery Media is different from that of my System(laptop), although I had created that recovery media by connecting it to the same laptop that is being discussed here. So bottomline, I need proper guidance for how do I change the serial no. and product no. that shows in my BIOS and will it also change what is stored in my EEPROM ?

I wanted to know if there's any software utility (DOS or something) or any other method to change the serial number and product number of my laptop.
