For a few months I tried to answer questions/messages as soon as I got them. Unfortunately that turned out to be really unproductive for me. I would constantly get questions, jump into random calls and solve everybody else's tasks/problems while falling behind on my tasks. (now that I think about it, I probably got used) I remember spending 70% of a work day in random calls, that's when i decided to stop doing it and let people wait for me. As for waiting, as long as the tasks are not directly dependent to somebody else's, my wait time is usually close to zero because I don't need a lot of outside input. If I really have to wait for something I usually switch to doing something else while waiting. I do have a friend that works 2 hours a day (and presumably does jackshit the other 6). Her company makes so much money they don't really care (she said that around $2 million pass through her company daily... I should probably go work there too lmao)

Fun story, I have a friend who has some neurological problems and she swears to god she can't see more than 25-30 fps. She was playing some game and a friend an I noticed her fps was like 30 and asked her how could she play like that. We gave her one of those online fps test tools. She said she can't see a any difference between 30, 60 and 144 fps.

Your question seems a bit incomplete but I'll try to answer anyway. When you have an html form you don't necessarily have to use ajax. The form itself will submit the data when you click on the input type "sumbit". Where will this submit your form? Well, you added an action attribute that specifies that (action="include/register.php"). You also specified that the form should use a POST http request (method="POST" ). So when you click on submit, the browser will take your form and will try to perform a POST http request to "include/register.php". You need some sort of server that listens for that post request and answer accordingly. It won't work if you only have that one html file. Adding jquery here probably does nothing, but it depends on what you're doing inside of "site_js.min.js". Jquery script tag should probably come before your custom script as well.

PC worked before changing thermal paste, and now it doesn't
Cupcakez replied to Luka858's topic in Troubleshooting
Try getting the CPU out and see if it has any bent or broken pins. If it looks alright ask a friend with a PC to test it for you. Edit: sorry, I just read the post again and noticed you said it had no broken pins :c- 4 replies

Discord drops memory clock by 200MHz
Cupcakez replied to SephiRock's topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Try disabling the discord overlay. Notnsure how that could cause this problem, but a few years ago discord overlay would crash my games so... Maybe its gonna help somehow? -

What happens if you open a game or some gpu benchmark at the same time as discord? Is it still locked at 200? -
why Im not getting full performance out of my gpu

Sounds like you could be bottlenecked by your CPU. What CPU do you have? Edit: yes, what the other guys said -
I do get the your Bluetooth latency worries but that highly depends on the bluetooth module itself. Had a cheap chinese pair of bt headphones with like 700ms delay. Ok for listening to music but that was about it. On the other hand I gamed on my sony xm3 without noticeable delays (but maybe my brain is just bad at detecting it?) Before bt was a thing, I remember there were these headphones with an fm radio receiver and a transmitter that you plugged into your PC. Not the greatest souns quality, highly susceptible to interference, but virtually no latency. I'm not even sure they make stuff like that anymore though. You could try building your own if you're feeling crafty. Maybe sacrifice a pair of cheap headphones you know dont have too much delay and somehow frankenstein it all together.

What is this crackling sound that happens when I power on PC?
Cupcakez replied to Connorg27's topic in Troubleshooting
Check to see if any stray cables got in the way of a fan. -
This. And check the power supply switch cause I'm personally guilty for not switching it on after building my latest PC. Edit: nvm, i just read your last reply

My laptop is approaching 4 years old, and I want to replace the battery
Cupcakez replied to 9wele7's topic in Troubleshooting
Oh boy. If the battery started bulging I recommend you take it out as soon as possible. It might damage other components or catch on fire. Take extra care while you disassemble the laptoo, you don't wanna squish the battery or accidentally puncture it. I'm not saying this to scare you, I've seen horribly swollen batteries that did not catch on fire, you should still get it out nonetheless. Also pay attention to where all the screws and ribbon cables go, take a few reference photos on your phone. The laptop should work fine without a battery while you wait for your replacement, but you're obviously have to use the AC adapter at all times. As for the battery upgrade itself, try looking for people who already did the swap. You could order it anyways to see if it fits, but make sure the dimensions are identical, same voltage and the same pin/connector configuration. The temperature issue is a bit odd. You could try to re-paste it especially if the paste was never replaced. Give it a good dusting while you're in there. -
As far as I know, RTX2060 is slightly better and it consumes a bit less power. The RTX series also has DLSS support which will definitely increase your FPS.

Alright guys, sorry for the late update. Leaving this here if anybody has the same question in the future. Absolutely, yes it does work. It's almost as good as it was brand new.

First of all I'm sorry but I don't know the name of that type of cable to be more descriptive. Long story short, my cat chewed off the wifi antena of my Gigabyte Aorus WBAX200. Already ordered a replacement but the delivery is gonna take some time, meanwhile I'm stuck at an abysmal bandwidth and random disconnects due to the poor wifi signal. I was thinking I could try splicing it back together. Will that work at all, temporarily? The wires seem thin to begin with and I'm not sure if I can do it. Do you think it's worth the effort? (P. S. My last resort is laying an ethernet cable in the middle of the room which I'm trying to avoid because I WILL trip over it.) Img of what it looks like (grabbed it from the internet)
