This actually looks really good! I liked it. The only downside here for me is lack of Thunderbolt, but I don't see how I could go wrong other than that. Actually, I was really thinking of buying a T470 off Lenovo itself (the oldest in-production T model, heard really good things about it as a value laptop) But with this whole pandemic I no longer have the option where I live.

I'm looking in midrange for now. X1 Carbon, XPS 13 etc really just surpass my needs. (and sometimes my budget) Oh, OK ... I'm not really looking for a touch display, but added this to my options nonetheless. (and a little bit expensive I see...)

I'm mainly a programmer and writer. I need a laptop that doesn't slaughter my eyes and hands in the process. Build quality is maybe the next important thing. The thing is, I don't care that much about internals in this particular case. High-end thin-and-lights are definitely among the options, but wanted to see if there are any decent options in the mid-range. Note that I don't really need a touch display, but if it comes without a huge trade-off, it would be nice.
