  1. Hello Im in college and I have a desktop with a 12700f and 4070 64gb of ram 4000 cl 15 and my laptop is an Asus zenbook 14 um3402y with a ryzen 7 7730u with 16gb of ram. Would this be a viable dynamic for an engineering student? (electrical engineering) Im mainly worried about doing cad on my laptop but Idk if its up to the task or not. Any help is much appreciated <3
  2. I will be moving off to college pretty soon and I cant bring my massive core p3 case one because im flying and even if I wanted to dismantle it I would have to check it because the case is massive and you know how the baggage people are : ( and two it just atraight up wont fit on the desks they provide us in the dorm. As for cases are there any which provide a home for my 420mm aio Im totally on board with having a mod done to the case whether it be a tophat or something goofy as long as its functional thank you for any of ur help!!!
  3. Hi guys an update from a few hours of testing I found 2 things to be the cause of my lack of performance and I would like to share my experience for others possibly having similar issues 1: set pl1 and pl2 to your max bios setting 2: download throttle stop and go tpl and make sure you select MMIO lock and not the sync MMIO 3: make sure you have core ratio down bin enabled in your bios. ENJOY!!!
  4. It is set to auto should it be on the on setting? What does it do? On vs Auto that is Ik what turbo is lol
  5. I’m running the gigabyte b660 gaming x ax with some custom vrm cooling
  6. I’m pretty sure the LLC is unlocked on this board there are some “unlocked” tuning features but not bclk tuning how much do you think I should try for LLC? Extreme? Turbo?
  7. For a very short period on p core 3 and them dips back to 4.4/4.3 but the package power or v core changes when it dips
  8. Hw info 64 for monitoring and I use package temps for temps and for voltage I use the vcore readout from the motherboard I’ve used cinebench r23
  9. Hi I have a micron E die set of 4x8gb sticks rated for 3000mhz with 16-20-20 I wanted a bit more performance so I oced it to 3800mhz with cl 18 but I had to use 1.45v so I dialed it back to 3600mhz and cl 17-19-19 and I found to to be the happy medium for me. I have active cooling on the ram and I would like some insight on what to do next in terms of ocing should I pump more voltage in? Is it safe? Ps I have a 12700f thank you for any help
  10. Hi I just recently upgraded from a 9700k to a 12700f and I’m quite pleased with the performance however when I test the single core performance of my specific chip compared to others(12700f) it’s quite lacking. I set my pl 1 and 2 to max and I have a -.70 v undervolt. For cooling I have a 420mm aio from Arctic and it never goes above 50c. I just don’t know why it’s only boosting to 4.3ghz any help would be appreciated thank you!
  11. Possibly a corrupt windows from you unplugging the drive. I would install a new version of windows on a usb from another computer.
  12. Nope not at all as long as it’s smaller it works 99% of the time! I know for a fact the h510 has support for the 240mm and the 280mm both in the front intake!
