  1. This means the rm750 won't even work with my motherboard? Or can it be still connected somehow? Because as of this moment I still didn't tell the store to replace the rm750 with Be quiet's 750 straight power 11 Gold. What would have happened if I didn't tell them to do so? Would they have still been able to assemble it?
  2. I actually don't really understand in these kind of stuff. Imma have a Asus z490 tuf gaming plus + i7 10700K + RTX 2080 SUPER + 16GB 3600 CL16 + samsung 970 evo 1 TB ssd NVMe m.2 + arctic liquid cooler 360 in Be quiet's DX500 case. Is the be quiet's 750W straight power 11 gonna be compatible with all that?
  3. So the Be quiet's 750 straight power 11 Gold should be more than enough right?
  4. I am buying a new computer with i7 10700K and RTX 2080 SUPER. And I don't know how much power do I really need. From what I understand 650W should be more than enough, I wanted to go for 750W just in case (Corsair RM750 or Be Quiet's straight power 11 gold 750). I saw that on Be quiet's website there is a PSU calculator so I checked it out. And when putting my build specs, even without overclocking, and only 8 RAM (it's the most they have, I actually have 16), and without usb3.1 gen 2 power transmition (I have no idea what that is and if my computer is gonna have it). even with all this off, they say that my system is gonna take a 650W !!! like WTF ?!?!? Everything everyone told me is a lie ?!?! Or are be quiet just lying brutally on their site?!?! what's going on here? The calculator is here : https://www.bequiet.com/en/psucalculator
  5. How is it possible to undervolt the GPU and get the same clocks? How is it making sense
  6. Isn't a smaller custom card means less performance ?
  7. I have recently bough a really good new gaming computer and all I need now is to but the GPU. I am looking for a RTX 2080 SUPER. And I can buy the Inno3d rtx 2080 super twin x2 OC in a really good price : 750$ (really cheap relative to the prices in my country). I have a concern tho about it's thermals performance, since it has only 2 fans. I found a pretty extensive review on it : https://www.hwlegend.tech/recensioni/schede-video/inno3d-geforce-rtx-2080-super-twin-x2-oc-n208s2-08d6x-11801167/40/ The temperatures recorded here are about 80C on demanding gaming, Which sounds pretty hot to me. I read on NVIDIA's website that the 2080 super can't go above 88C, which is not that far from the results in this review. And I also know that higher temperatures can cause the chip to lower it's performance so it won't get to hot, as well as shortening it's life. Moreover, This 2080 super is really tiny compared to other 2080 super models, and I don't really understand how is that, from what I understand all 2080 SUPER should be more or less the same in size, since the card is the same other than it's cooling. should there be a concern here? I can buy some Gigabyte 3 fan model of the 2080 super, but that would mean spending almost 200$ more (yes the prices in my country are crazy, lots of taxes), and I don't know what to do here
  8. I just checked in the store's website and it seems like they don't have any Thermaltake PSU's. So I guess my main 2 options are the corsair's rm750 or be quiet's 750W STRAIGHT POWER 11 From what I understand the be quiet's PSU is the better option right? I should go and tell the guy to switch to this one in your opinion?
  9. What do you mean by poor reg? I guess my main concern here is, whether the rm750 is reliable enough so all the stuff mentioned here will not happen.
  10. The 750rm (which is my current default if I don't tell him otherwise in the next few days) also has gold efficiency. I wonder if it could be better than the rm750. Just out off curiosity, can the PSU actually affect my PC in a way that would make a big difference? I mean do some PSU's provide "bertter" current than others? Can it have an effect on my computer and it's components?
  11. here : https://www.anandtech.com/show/13494/the-be-quiet-straight-power-11-750w-psu-review/2#:~:text=It is a very high,Be Quiet! they say that the be quiet straight power 11 750W is pretty good
  12. How about Antec's High Current Gamer ? Or Antec's earthwatts GOLD PRO ? Are any of those mentions supposed to be better than the corsair rm750 ?
