  1. tbh I think I was under-volting my cpu by quite a bit. I was reading a guide and they had their 1920x at 1.325 volts or so. originally I was at 1.26875 and im at 1.3 right now and it seems fine for the time being. also my motherboard is a x399m
  2. Ever since I decided to overclock my 1920x ive noticed that whenever im not at my desk doing something on my pc, I come back to a frozen screen and end up having to restart and then everything will be fine for awhile till it happens again. I've tried messing around with the voltage and and base clock speed by tweaking them up and down just a little bit but it doesnt seem to fix anything. I do recall Linus saying something about Threadripper being RAM hungry. in what sense I dont remember if it's ram speed or gigs available. Anyways I have 16gbs of 3600MHz corsair Vengence LPX.
  3. Budget (including currency): (case transfer) $139.99 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and making videos Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Going from a phanteks p300a to a Enthoo pro 2. I was unsure if it is possible to fit a 240mm crossflow radiator ( like the Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 Full Copper X-Flow 240mm radiator) on the bottom of the case while having a m-itx motherboard at the same time. Is it possible to have both at the same time?
  4. I was unsure if it is possible to fit a 240mm crossflow radiator (like shown below) on the bottom of the case while having a m-itx motherboard at the same time is there a possibility that it would fit?
  5. pc part picker estimates 851 watts which is one watt above a different power supply that i can get
  6. other way around obviously, one male to two male
  7. so say i used this. I wouldnt have any issues running both cpus at once?
  8. Have you overclocked your cpu? if so ive noticed that under voltage or over voltage can cause performance issues
  9. Hello yall, im looking for a 900w (or more) power supply that has two 24 pin connectors that isnt the phanteks revolt. If the phanteks revolt series is the only option then I guess I have deal with the big price tag.
  10. It says it supports 8th gen, would it be fine putting a 9th gen 9700 in the mb?
  11. Budget (including currency): $200-$250 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: cyberpunk, among us, minecraft Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Looking for a m-itx mb that supports 9th gen LGA 1151 cpu and can also support 3600 MHz ram (16gb). Any recommendations?
  12. so, im taking out my 9th gen core i7 9700 out of my alienware r8 along with the windows 10 os (on a m.2 ssd). I plan on taking said cpu and ssd and putting it in a case like the phanteks enthoo pro 2. the intel cpu and ssd with the os will be going on a m-itx motherboard. my only concern was will I have to do anything if I just the the ssd from one mb and out it on a new one.
  13. well it shouldnt be a problem, since bios is already on the motherboard.
  14. would I have to make a new boot drive if its going a new mb
  15. the ssd is still going to be on an intel motherboard, just m-itx thats all
  16. Hello, Im currently in the process of making a dual system build with an intel cpu and threadripper cpu. The intel OS which is windows 10 is on a ssd in alienware motherboard, but what I was wondering is if it is possible just to take the ssd out and just throw it into another motherboard without having to do anything. I factory reset windows so its at the startup portion.
  17. i narrowed it down to the micro sd being 8 years old its not the biggest deal in the world losing the last 15 seconds of the video
  18. I recorded a video on my phone about 2 months ago and the last 15 seconds of the video don't playback at all, I was wondering if there was a way to recover the lost part of the video.
