  1. I used XMP II and was able to get 3466 MHz and VCCSA was set to 1.35V already. Sorry its been a while, got busy with life and had to work with defaults for a bit.
  2. Ok, weirdly enough just using either the 8Gb or 16GB sticks 3600 MHz would fail and still boot into safe mode when I was troubleshooting. So what is the point of paying for higher speeds if they are probably not going to work? What would be a reliable company that 3600Mhz would work from.
  3. I just took some screenshots. They are two different manufacturers, one is Micron Technology and the other is indeed Samsung.
  4. Hello, I have an Intel 10900 with an Asus Hero Maximus XII. The memory modules I have are DDR4 2x8GB and 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance modules with the same timings of 18-22-22-42. They both have 1.35V as well. The only difference is the 8GB modules are version 3.31 and the 16GB modules are version 4.32. I know I should just use completely same sticks but I needed an upgrade from 16GB memory and bought the 32GB assuming since they had the same timings, voltage, speed, and company it would work. I tried XMP I and XMP II profiles but it would just boot into safe mode when I would change the speed to 3600 MHz. Any tips on what I can do now?
  5. Sorry that is what i meant, i did convert it from legacy to uefi but it didn't change anyrhing besides being able to boot with default settings
  6. I'm afraid to do that, lmao spent so much on it already. But would it still run if the pins were even a little messed up?
  7. CPU: Intel i7 10700k Mobo: Asus Maximus XII Hero GPU: Asus STRIX 1080 8 GB RAM: 32 GB CPU cooler: Corsair H100i v2 Storage: 250 GB Samsung 850 evo PSU: EVGA 750 watt Gold I updated the BIOS and also reset it to default, but the motherboard and CPU are new so I don't know what resetting to default would do. I checked that Intel Turbo Boost was also activated. I reinstalled windows keeping my files. I do not know what to do now, is it a dead CPU? Did I eff up any pins on mobo during installation, even though it boots into windows and runs?
  8. sorry just finished it, I was out for a little bit but let me see what happens.
  9. CPU speed is still stuck at 0.8 GHz, power setting is on game-turbo. Tried resetting the BIOs to load default settings, but would not startup because I had to enable CFM and change the option to read Legacy drives. Not sure what else to do.
  10. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-XII-HERO-WI-FI/HelpDesk_BIOS/ They want me to use a USB to update it. How do i get bios to recognize my drives with uefi?
  11. I just updated all of the drivers I possibly could from the Asus website except the BIOs. How should I update the BIOs. Also would choosing the Legacy option in the BIOs boot menu be messing up anything?
  12. I planned on gaming on it, haven't gamed for a few weeks but wanted to start after my CPU and motherboard upgrade. Could my graphics card also be a reason for the lag?
