Yea I know... but I think the cloud alpha have the potential for good sound. I really understand your point of view, but sometimes you have to go with the things you have and try to improve.

Lack of XLR input is not a problem. I've also looked of Focusrite Scarlett's cards. There are nice, but for me it looks like overkill.

Unfortunately in Bulgaria there aren't any vendors that sells AE-9, but there is AE-7 which also comes beyond my budget. Thx for the suggestion.

I need the sound card for audio improvement. I'm using Hyperx Cloud Alpha and I'm struggling with the realtek drivers. Also I've realised that the headset has the potential for better sound and that's the main reason. For the moment I don't need to imput XLR Microphone or something more special, but if there is an opportunity I wouldn't reject e.g XLR slot, etc.

Hello everyone, I want to buy a sound card, but I don't really know which one to be. Currently I'm choosing between Asus Xonar U7 MkII or Creative Sound BlasterX G6. I've researched and there were different opinions and reviews, but nothing solid. My question is which I should buy and I won't be dissapointed for the purchase? Also I want to hear other suggestions on their price (around $150) and what specs I must check while choosing soundcard. Thanks for the attention!
