  1. I'd most likely be buying from UK's amazon
  2. I'm from Lithuania, there are a number of local online stores that offer relatively good prices. I could also buy from amazon. My specs: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30 GHz Gigabyte G1 GeForce GTX 970 2x 4GB DDR3 RAM
  3. I've had this dirt cheap 600W PSU by Logic Concept Technology for 3-4 years now. Recently it developed a loud coil whine which is only present under low load. The unit also makes a slight noise while the PC is off. Is this kind of issue worth repairing or should I just get a better PSU? Besides, I don't even need that much wattage for my system.
  4. The first one is too thick for my liking, and the MSI laptop is actually very expensive where I live. I am probably being too needy, might just have to stick with the ZenBook Pro.
  5. Hello, I've been looking for a powerful 15 inch laptop below 1500 euro. The best I've found is the Asus UX501VW, also known as the ZenBook Pro. It seems like a relatively powerful machine with the 6700HQ and 960M, yet I am hesitant to make a purchase, mainly because I envy the 10 series GPUs. Are there any newer alternatives?
  6. I am looking for an ultrabook, Asus or Dell specifically. I can't decide how much graphics power I need. If I get the GTX 940MX, will there be a large enough performance increase to justify the extra expense over the Intel HD 620? Would it affect battery life noticeably? I don't plan on playing highly demanding games, though I would love it if it ran Civ 6 smoothly.
  7. The case fan plug, which is connected to the CPU fan header, branches off into: a) the fan itself, b) a header for daisy-chaining. So my CPU fan is plugged into the header branch.
  8. In my setup I have an Arctic 120mm case fan plugged into my CPU fan header. The CPU fan is then plugged into the extension branch of the case fan. Does this slow down my CPU fan or am I fine?
  9. I do have the drivers installed. Would a sound card fix the sizzling? I didn't have any noises with the external sound card of the V2. I am OK with the quality, I just want to fix the annoying noise.
  10. Recently, my SteelSeries Siberia V2 broke and I sent it for an RMA. They were kind enough to replace it for me with a V3. However, the USB sound card that came with the V2 (and noticeably improved the audio quality) was incompatible with the V3 - it made a constant screeching noise. Therefore, I had to plug the headset straight to the headset/mic jacks on the back panel. The sound was different, but this was largely due to the different headset. My problem is that whenever I move my mouse, I hear a slight sizzling noise. Perhaps something is interfering with the motherboard audio chip? Would a sound card fix my issues? My motherboard is GIGABYTE PH67A-D3-B3.
  11. But if i don't want to buy anything else, could i just always run it at the same speed? It is a continuous operation fan, don't think running it constantly would cause any harm.
  12. nope, i had to copy by hand because i took it on my phone and i am on a laptop. fixed now
  13. The fan plug is even bigger than the shroud, even if it was 3pin it wouldn't fit
