  1. Budget (including currency): £500 Country: England Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: general gaming and media course work Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My friend wants to buy a pc with me but doesn’t know much about computers, I’ve offered to build it for her if she gets me the parts but she doesn’t know which parts to get, nor does she know what games she wants to run. She’s currently studying media at college and needs her computer to handle video editing and such, so any pc parts list with amd would be nice.
  2. There’s not much point in gaming at 240hz, I’d suggest a 144hz and that way you get a bit of extra money to spend on the pc to upgrade the gpu, for editing videos, streaming, and rendering id suggest against Intel, AMD have much better cores and threads to handle these tasks without much difference to gaming performance
  3. Thank you for all the suggestions, as I said before the peripherals do not come under the pc budget so should be able to squeeze a 2080 super in with the 3700x and swap to a 750W psu for roughly the same amount.
  4. Budget (including currency): Dont really have a set budget just looking to spend roughly £1500 give or take Country: England Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: GTA, Streaming, Rocket league, editing/rendering Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): so I actually have all the parts picked out and the peripherals don’t come under my pc budget, just need some help for some parts I could swap out to get the best performance for the same price. PS . Never built a pc before so wasn’t really sure what to go for.
