  1. I just completed a new PC build with the following specs: NZXT H700i Case Intel I7-10700k Gigabye Aorus Z490 Pro AX NZXT Kraken X63 AIO Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Samsung 970 Pro NVME SSD Samsung 860 QVO SSD I have run into an issue regarding the motherboard. So after building this PC, I installed Windows 10 and downloaded all the new drivers etc. After this I heard a buzzing/static noise coming from inside the PC case. Initially, I thought it was the case fans, but it wasn't. I then thought it was my SATA SSD, which it wasn't and finally after searching the internet for a possible fix, I thought it could be my PSU, but it wasn't. In the end I narrowed it down to my motherboard. Specifically, the noise is coming from the back of the motherboard roughly around where the Audio amp and back IO panel meet (if you look at pictures of the motherboard you should be able to work out where I am talking about). The noise is a static/buzzing noise that has started to get really annoying and has frustrated me quite a bit. The only times the noise does not happen is when I enter the BIOS and when I enter safe mode in Windows 10 - this to me suggests that it could be a software issue rather than an actual hardware issue with the motherboard?? After making the above observations, I checked my audio drivers and they seemed to be the most up-to-date ones from Gigabyte's website. I only checked the "Realtek HD Audio Driver", could there be something else I am missing here, maybe another piece of software or another driver?? I really would appreciate any help with this issue and would like to say thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out! Thanks, Update 1: So I reinstalled Windows 10 and the noise still seems to be there, although it is alot more quiet now. I have done some more research online and people are complaining that it may be coil whine in the VRM section of the motherboard. As mentioned above, the noise was coming from the back IO panel area, which isn't too far from the VRM section on the Motherboard. I am now considering whether it is coil whine in the VRM?? When I built this new PC, I transferred my old PSU from my old build to this new one. My PSU is a Coolermaster M850W Silent Pro (it's pretty old now). Could this be causing coil whine on the motherboard and should I consider upgrading my PSU to see if that fixes the noise?
