So I recently replaced my thermal paste and after I put everything back together my pc keeps booting into bios. But in the bios my ssd and external hard drive is showing on the storage tab. i have tried plugging everything out and just have my ssd in. I tried swapping sata slot. I tried resetting cmos but still nothing. If anyone can help me I would be very thankful!

probably a problem with your PSU i would suggest not to run your pc until you swaped it for a new one. as if it's the voltage controller fucking it it might push too much voltage to your components.

I would definitely go for 16gb of ram as most games today use around 4-7 gigs of ram if not more! and your the cpu i would consider upgrading as well. doesn't have to be anything expensive. depending on your motherboard if its amd compatible i would get a ryzen 5 2600 or if its not go for a i5 9400f as it only gives you a 3% bottleneck on 1080p res

i have a question and i am just now going to upgrade my cpu and motherboard. I'm going for the MSI MPG x570 with the ryzen 5 3600. right now i have a ryzen 7 1700 with the stock cooler. and i was thinking because i believe the 3600 doesn't come with the RGB stealth cooler so i was thinking of putting the 1700 stock cooler on my new cpu. does this work or do i have to use the one that comes in the box or can i use my old one?
