  1. I cant figure out how to set up surround on my 3 monitors. I have two 2560x1440p monitors on the sides of my 3440x1440p ultrawide and want to set up surround displays. Can anybody help me please?
  2. So I figured this out thanks to this video. I followed the instructions and didn't have to reformat anything and now I am ready for windows 11. Hope this helps someone else out.
  3. Trying to get my pc ready for windows 11. I need to enable secure boot. Inorder to do that I have to disable csm. As soon as I disable it, my pc shows no boot drives and only boots into bios. From what I've gathered so far I think my boot drive is the wrong format of a partition. Is there a way to fix this? Will I have to format my boot drive? And will I have to do this for all my drives or just my boot drive? Also instructions on what to do would be helpful. Thanks guys!!!
  4. Can you use a 34" ultrawide in between 2 27" monitors in surround mode. I go to enable it in my Nvidia control panel but it wont let me set a custom resolution when I try to set it on all 3 monitors. Just wondering If its possible to use it with my center monitor being an ultrawide. Pic included to show how they are set up. The 2 27" are 2560x1440 and the center is 3440x1440
  5. I included a CPU water block because I have a custom loop for my CPU currently.
  6. So my question is, If I want to go AMD, do I just need a new motherboard, CPU and water block for the CPU? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes but this was my first time building a computer so just double checking. The reason I want to switch is if the new graphics cards are PCIE 4.0 I want to get all the performance I pay for. I am shooting for the 3080 ti or whatever the top end card will be called. Even if its only a minor gain in performance over pcie 3.0
  7. finished today will probably do some minor touch ups later but it definitely helps. 9900k @ 5.0 Ghz all core idles at 27c now (down from about 35c before)
  8. Thanks for the info guys. I decided to go with a jigsaw and Dremel to cut out a rectangle hole for a grate in the front. I am going to paint the grate flat black and epoxy it into the front panel. I will post pics as I go so hopefully it will help someone else. Here is a list of all the tools ill be using Masking tape Dremel with reinforced metal cutting blade (to start the holes for Jigsaw) Jigsaw with metal cutting blade 180 grain sandpaper sponge Combination square Hand file Flat black primer and paint Clear epoxy Fine point sharpie
  9. That just gave me some good ideas. Thank you! The pics really helped.
  10. I just finished my first custom loop and need help. I had to put the fans in the front so I could fit the radiator and pump/res in the case. I am wondering what the best way to go about modifying the front panel for airflow would be. I can separate the Metal from the plastic on the front panel. But want to know what would be best to cut both out. I don't want to go all the way to the edge of the panel, I just want a big rectangle hole. and I might put some kind of grating to make it look nice. Just wondering if anyone has done this or what tools would work best to cut and leave good looking edges.
