thx for the reply nope cant get into bios, added more memory. i have tried running system with stock memory (works) with new memory (works) both together (works) then restart and no work. so system will run with just new memory, with just original memory, and only one power cycle with them together. Problem solved one stick was incorrect it was a 2400

i bought the R9 in December and am adding 2 new 8 gig sticks of ram matched the manufacturer(kingston hyper x fury 2666mhz). i can addd the sticks it boots then tells me ram has been changed. confirmed in system it recognizes them, play games, stream and video edit all day no problem. if i restart or power off then power up again i only get black screen and no power to keyboard or mouse. i have tried using all the different slots with each ram stick and they all work fine for restarts. just when i have the 4 in together do i have the issue and only after the second restart..
