  1. I doubt that cards such as the 2070 and the 3060 will be good in my system, just because I don't need the extra horsepower. I will use the card for the next 3 years, however the games will run at around medium 60fps on my system in the next few years.
  2. Mostly playing games (1080p 60hz). I have a max budget of £300 fyi.
  3. Currently I am in a time where I want to upgrade my GPU as my GTX1050 is falling behind quickly on modern titles such as RDR2 which I really want to play this summer. However with rumours of RDNA 2, Nvidia Ampere and the new consoles, its hard to pick a good gpu. Therefore I need some help. Is it worth the wait and pain for new graphics cards to drop (fyi I won't be buying the high end models, just seeing price drops etc) or should I just purchase a new GPU now and enjoy it for the next 2/3 years? If I am to purchase a new GPU should I buy the RTX2060 (I may use RTX on for only messing around with and photos) or the RX5600xt, which apparently sometimes runs like a 2060 super. If I have enough money then an RX5700 but its too far for my spec and my money. These are my current specs: Ryzen 5 2600 GTX1050 16GB @ 3200mhz ram CX450 B450m-a I have a budget of £300 but I still am stressed over the fact if I will regret my decision over buying now and getting a deal-breaking card releasing a day later, or waiting such a long time for nothing to happen, but high-end cards releasing that I will not buy. Therefore to summarise, these are my questions: -Should I wait for new cards, if yes should I buy cards which dropped in price or buy the new budge cards if there will be any -If I should buy the card now, should I purchase the RTX2060 or the RX5600xt or any other card which is good I am super hyped about RDR2 but if I have to wait then it will be decades behind and I don't know if my 1050 is dying as well. Please help as I am currently stressed over the new bloody cards. Thanks!
  4. Is there any considerations on why the 5600xt? I know its cheaper and the same price but its a nice to have RTX and I would try it out, plus I guarantee I will have the money next month, Im kind of sick with the GTX1050 as I play more demanding games. I will be playing at 1080p @60hz, I kind of planned to get everything this july, and its a little annoying to replan everything and wait a little longer, I don't know if its worth the time or a deal-breaker.
  5. Hello, Recently with all rumours and releases such as the Playstation 5, I am left wondering if I still should buy my all round dream card, the RTX2060. I really want to play RDR2 this summer however I still don't know if it is worth it waiting for the drop of RTX3000s or new amd gpu's. I currently have a budget of £300 and I am running these specifications: -GTX1050 -Ryzen 5 2600 -16GB @ 3200mhz ram -CX450 I don't have much patience because I have had the GTX1050 for 2 years now and It is falling behind drastically, therefore I want to upgrade, however I really want to lay my hands on cp2077 and rdr2. Is it worth the wait, or should I spend £300 now on an RTX2060?
  6. Ok thank you, its what I've been planning to do, by not overclocking which I never do. The only overclock I do is setting ram timings from 2333mhz to 3200mhz which im pretty sure should not be much of an issue
  7. Cheers! Should I still consider purchasing a higher watt psu or just save my money?
  8. Ok thank you for the straight forward reply!
  9. Hello, currently I am very stuck and puzzled. I decided I want to buy my all-round dream card, the RTX2060 because the fps is perfect and RTX on is a nice to have. I recently bought a Ryzen 5 2600 with a B450ma and 16gb of ram clocked at 3200mhz. I decided to replace my gtx1050 because its slowly dying and its not powerful enough anymore as I want to try out higher quality games such as RDR2, CP2077 and MFS2020. I have been saving for a long time and am almost there until I found out my limiting factor, which is my PSU. I did more research and found out that it would be fine, especially that I won't OC and will have vsync on for most games until I buy a gsync monitor which is way in the future. Just in case, I questioned forums, however they were mixed, some say my pc will blow up, some say its a huge risk and some say it'll work flawlessly. I plan on purchasing a CX550 asap, which will take up to a few weeks to buy, but I want to enjoy playing games, and want to really try out red dead redemption 2. Please thoroughly describe if my cpu and ram is sufficient, and if my PSU is going to do fine for the next few weeks, It is a CX450 grey label from 2017 and I barely put any load onto it anyways. Thanks in advance!
