Hi there, I have a dell g5 and I wanted to replace the default screen with a 120hz one, however the screen replacement was faulty so had to put the old one back, however there seems to be a problem. After I put the screen back and the top cover, everytime I close the laptop, the lid switch does not work. Everytime I close the lid, the laptop won't be put into sleep. I tried getting a magnet and try different places, over the bezel, power button, still nothing. I might have knocked off the magnet by accident and don't know what to do. Does anyone know where the magnet is located/lid switch on the 5587? Thanks in advance!

Hi there, I want to buy a mechancial gaming keyboard but I'm kinda confused on which to choose between the K568 or K552? I want something that is clicky yet doesn't make that loud noise in the same price range, or any suggestion really. Thanks in advance!

The laptop didn't overthrottle that much when I bought it. It seems that poor thermal paste has been applied and even got dry. Ill be making sure that the head sink is cleaned with applying proper paste, thanks for your reply!

There's not much computer shop/maintenance where I live, and the one's they use is generic which is pretty much useless. All I can find is Arctic MX-4, have you tried it before?

Hi there, I have a Dell G5 5587, with an I7-8750H, and a GTX 1060, and yeah, it thermal throttles horribly and even reaches 0.8Ghz and core speeds if it gets too hot. Undervolting didn't help much so I was thinking of changing the thermal paste, however I don't know which to choose between both. Which one is a better option? and if there's something better I can buy please do recommend me. Thanks in advance. :)
