  1. Thanks and yea i started off with 3000mhz adata ram and the rgb software sucked alot and defaulted to rainbow all the time and I wanted a little performance boost so I got some new gskill modules 16gb 3466 mhz and put the old ones in a system i was building for someone. And thats where the problems started so I assumed I got dead ram sent it back and got the royal modules as I needed the system running for work and was pretty annoyed to find out it wasn't that. I guess the upside is i now have the upgraded stuff i couldn't budget for when I originally built the system lol.
  2. I've submitted an rma request so just got to send it out and wait meanwhile I use this beast with dual radeon hd6450s.
  3. The only thing that puts me off it being the mobo tho is that I previously had a msi b450 Pro carbon ac then replaced with the aorus ax370k7 which was known working from a friend and I had identical issues.
  4. A majority of the parts are known working in the pc as ive tested what i can in other systems aside from the cpu and motherboard and even so i can still sell them as non working items. But anyway im going to rma the cpu the only reason i haven't is because of what people have told me in regards to if a cpu is dead it wont post.
  5. I guess thats all that's left to try ive always been told that a cpu just dies outright probably bs tbh but yea ive had the cpu for coming up on 2 years now it worked fine for about half a year before I had issues. I have a spare system to use in the mean time but its like 7 years old lol
  6. I would sell all the known working hardware out of it im not enough of a dick to do that as I know what its like to get faulty stuff as I'm currently experiencing right now.
  7. My pc has been doing everything in this list below: Bsod Random restarts Web page crashes Game crashes Usb devices not initialising on start up Boot loops Everything I've tried to remedy it: New motherboard New ram Known working gpu New boot drive Multiple windows installs (probably over 10 times now) Clean driver installs for both motherboard and gpu + older driver versions Different ram and cpu oc settings Tried different psu Sfc scan now Event viewer has shows nothing except kernel power Bios updates Bsod errors: Bsod's System service exception ( most common ) Driver overrun stack buffer while trying to uninstall old drivers Page fault in non paged area and Driver irql not or less equal Kmode exception not handled Ntfs.sys stopped System specs: Ryzen 7 2700 Noctua nhu12s chromax Aorus ax370-gaming k7 G.Skill trident z royal 16gb 2x8gb 3600mhz Evga Geforce rtx2070 ftw3 Samsung 250gb nvme boot drive Evga 650w psu Almost every part of the system has been swapped out apart from the cpu I've been trying to get it working for months now and I just dont know what to do. I may have missed some stuff I've tried because it's been going on for a long time now and i don't have the money to keep replacing parts until it works and I also don't know what else to do in terms of software so anything is greatly appreciated.
  8. It seems to run fine at 2933mhz passes memtest. Is there anything I can do to get it to run faster tho as that was one of the reasons for upgrading the ram as well as crappy rgb software.
  9. I'm having some issues with my motherboard (Msi b450 pro carbon ac) early on when I got the board the onboard wifi became intermittent where I would have signal but unable to load webpages so I have used a usb wifi card since with no problems until recently. I purchased some faster ram (g.skill trident z 8gb x2 3466mhz) and when I installed the ram I had multiple blue screens with multiple errors and programs crashing and stopping ect which lead me to try reinstalling windows which seemed to work at first but then started having problems with web pages just stopping and games crashing. I ran memtest86 and got 2 test 8 errors and after resetting the bios and setting the ram to its rated speed I got a further 10 test 8 errors. After reinstalling the old ram into the system again (adata xpg spectrix 8GB x2 3000mhz) I was no longer able to have the ram run at the rated speed I had it set to before and it would cycle on and off before setting back to a slower speed despite having identical settings in the bios as before. I just ran another pass of memtest86 and my old ram tests fine despite the board not letting it run at 3000mhz I'm unsure what to do or what parts have failed any help would be appreciated.
