I think I'm going with the KC600 512, I feel like the 1TB MX300 is a bit risky, especially with what you said about it being obsolete. The 90 dollars are gonna sting (Argentina's exchange rate is terrible), but I hope it'll be worth it

What bugs me is that while the 256 is at the international price ($55), the 512 is higher ($90 here vs $80 international). Also, as I would use the drive mainly for OS and some games, i could probably get away with 256. But well, I guess it's worth springing for the 512gb for the extra peace of mind right?

the MX500 is available here, but at a much higher price. The alternatives would be the BX500, which I've heard isn't good, and a 1TB MX300 for $75 (middle ground in price between the 256 and the 512 KC600s), but from an unknown seller, so a bit of distrust there.

Hello everyone! I'm looking for a relatively cheap SSD to upgrade a laptop with. I'm from Argentina, so I don't have many options really. I don't want DRAMless, so my choice boils down to the Kingston KC600 256gb at $55, or the KC600 512gb at $87. Is there any noticeable improvement in performance and/or durability in the 512 model? Or the ONLY reason would be more storage? Any insight on the matter will be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!
