  1. Sorry for the late reply but I tried both and had the same issue. I ended up leaving it in with a computer repair shop to see if they could inspect the components and they said they were getting bad voltage readings on the motherboard so I'm going to RMA that and hope for the best
  2. I seen somebody with a similar issue say it was to do with their razer mouse drivers, and unplugging the mouse during install fixed it. Could add that to your list of things to try maybe
  3. Yeah looks like the same issue except I never got windows to boot at all like you did. I'll let you know if I figure anything out though!
  4. I'll try that, thanks for the suggestion! Only thing is it failed to boot off the working hard drive either so I'm not too sure
  5. Problem: I can go through the BIOS fine and stay there indefinitely but crashes keep happening when installing windows. I boot to the USB with the install media, I then select my language, drive partitions etc and start the install. Then after a seemingly random amount of time, the screen will freeze up for a second, go black and restart randomly. It hasn't got past the first 10% of the windows install I dont think. Sometimes it even crashes when picking a language or whatever before beginning the install. Tried: Re-creating the windows install tool, and tried different USB ports 1 RAM stick at a time, and in different RAM slots Booting directly to my old hard drive which loads windows fine on my current PC Unplugging my keyboard + mouse during windows install None of these helped at all.
