  1. Well his hardware is good, he has an Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb of ram at 3600mhz, a gigabyte aorus b550m pro motherboard Nd a corsair cx450 psu. He reinstalled Fortnite, Formatted his SSD and installed Windows again, but the problem is still there, so the only thing left could be that crappy gpu (atleast in my opinion lol)
  2. Hello, I'm asking this for my little brother since I myself am using a RTX 3060 Ti, but he bought an Asus Phoenix GTX 1660 Super a couple of months ago and the GPU now freezes every game with Fortnite. Other games work perfectly and he tried everything to make it work, but the problem still exists. Now I told him the prices for GPU's are very high atm so perhaps he could sell his GTX 1660 super. He received an offer of 310 euro's and he can buy an owned MSI GTX 1080 for the same amount. Do you guys recommend him to sell his GPU and buy that GTX 1080 or does he need to keep his current GPU? I myself don't like that card since it only has one fan and nowerdays i'd rather prefer card with atleast 2 fans. Thanks in advance!
  3. I've bought a new set of RAM, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3600Mhz and it only restarted once after I've installed that. I also had my pc running for over a week because of Loot drops for Escape from Tarkov and it never shut down in that week. I also set my XMP profile on XMP Profile 2, perhaps that did the job, since the restarts did happen when it was on Profile 1, but I kind of doubt that since Profile 2 is a more extreme profile, atleast that's what's the internet says lol.
  4. Hello, I've been looking for a new monitor for a couple of days now, but I can't make a decision. My budget is around 350 euro's and these two monitors really caught my eye: - MSI Optix MAG322CQR This is an 32 inch, 1440p Curved VA panel with 165hz refreshrate and is on sale right now from 479 euro to 349 euro. But the reviews on this model are sometimes very bad but some People really love this monitor. - Gigabyte M27Q This is an 27 inch, 1440p Flat IPS panel with 170hz refreshrate. That one sells for 339 euro atm. The reviews on that monitor are quite good, but I also read alot about IPS monitors having backlight bleeding.. My whole PC is made with MSI parts so thats why I keep coming back at the MSI 32 inch monitor, but I really want to make a choice now. I'm currently using a BenQ XL2411 monitor which is an 24 inch 1080p TN panel with 144hz refreshrate, but that's only usable with DVI and I upgraded my PC with an Ryzen 5 3500x and a RTX 3060 Ti which doesnt have a DVI port, so I'm now using it at just 60hz. I never had a bigger screen then 24 inch, so 32 inch looks nicer in my opnion (Go Big or Go Home lol) I will be using it only for Gaming and YouTube and the games that I play are mostly FPS games like Escape From Tarkov, Fortnite, Call of Duty Cold War. Hopefully you guys can help me out with this, so I can finally make a decision! Thanks in advance!
  5. Hello everyone. I just received my new pc today, put it together installed Windows, but the pc keeps restarting.. Even when it's booting.. Sometimes it works for an hour or more but when I think the problem is solved, the problem keeps coming back.. I made no changes in the BIOS. I tried reinstalling Windows, unplugged some fans, reconnected the cables from my psu, tried it with 1 ram stick and then only the other one.. What can be the problem? PC specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500X MOBO: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi RAM: G.Skill DDR4 Ripjaws-V 2x8GB 3600Mhz - F4-3600C18D GPU: MSI RTX 3060 TI Gaming X Trio SSD: Intel 60GB 2.5" SSD M.2: Intel 665P 1TB M.2 PSU: Corsair CX650F RGB CASE: MSI MAG FORGE 100R Hopefully someone here can help me with this, because I really don't know what the problem could be..
  6. I just finished changing the USB port of my Astro A50 gen2. I ordered the smallest USB type C female connector with board on Aliexpress. I had 5 pieces for 2 euro's. These small ones are way easier fitted in the housing. The only thing you'll need to do is use a small knife to cut the hole a small bit bigger and it will fit perfectly! I still can use my 3.5mm connector and I didnt have to use hot glue!
  7. Budget (including currency): 400 a 500 euro Country: the Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly Rainbow Six Siege, some f2p games and RTS games, but they're old school like Stronghold Crusader. (Gotta love the oldies!) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm in doubt of buying a new pc or a secondhand one. I put the system specs of the pc's below. I can't make up my mind, so perhaps you guys can help? I have a 1080p monitor atm, but I want to buy a 24" or 27" 144hz 1080p monitor later on. I also need a mouse and keyboard, but I have some old ones laying around, so thats why I'm not adding that in the costs. System 1 (New Build) around 500 euro: - Ryzen 3 3100 - B450 motherboard - 16gb DDR4 3200mhz c16 - RX 570 - 256gb m.2 ssd System 2 (Secondhand) 400 euro: - i7 4770k - Gigabyte ga-z97x gaming plus motherboard - 32gb DDR3 1888MHz from Corsair - Asus ROG Gaming GTX 1070 8gb - 500gb m.2 SSD - new NZXT 510 case with RGB. System 3 (Secondhand) 200 euro: - i7 4790k - Asus H97M-E motherboard - 12gb DDR3 ???MHz - MSI AMD R9 280x - no Powersupply and HDD. - Random case But with the price of 200 euro I have enough left for a decent Power supply and a SSD, perhaps adding a bit more ram.
