Budget (including currency): 400 a 500 euro
Country: the Netherlands
Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly Rainbow Six Siege, some f2p games and RTS games, but they're old school like Stronghold Crusader. (Gotta love the oldies!)
Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):
I'm in doubt of buying a new pc or a secondhand one. I put the system specs of the pc's below. I can't make up my mind, so perhaps you guys can help?
I have a 1080p monitor atm, but I want to buy a 24" or 27" 144hz 1080p monitor later on.
I also need a mouse and keyboard, but I have some old ones laying around, so thats why I'm not adding that in the costs.
System 1 (New Build) around 500 euro:
- Ryzen 3 3100
- B450 motherboard
- 16gb DDR4 3200mhz c16
- RX 570
- 256gb m.2 ssd
System 2 (Secondhand) 400 euro:
- i7 4770k
- Gigabyte ga-z97x gaming plus motherboard
- 32gb DDR3 1888MHz from Corsair
- Asus ROG Gaming GTX 1070 8gb
- 500gb m.2 SSD
- new NZXT 510 case with RGB.
System 3 (Secondhand) 200 euro:
- i7 4790k
- Asus H97M-E motherboard
- 12gb DDR3 ???MHz
- MSI AMD R9 280x
- no Powersupply and HDD.
- Random case
But with the price of 200 euro I have enough left for a decent Power supply and a SSD, perhaps adding a bit more ram.
