Hi everyone.
Desperately looking for help here. I built my PC back in Jan/Feb and purchased 16 GB (2 x 8GB) of G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 RAM (F4-3600C16D-16GVKC) with latency at CL16-19-19-39 1.35v. PC runs great. Super happy with the performance. No issues encountered.
I got an ebay Gift card recently and decided to purchase, what I thought, was the same 16GB of RAM as a rather cheap upgrade to 32GB of RAM. When I received the RAM, I realized the latency numbers were different. The new sticks are G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 RAM (F4-3600C18D-16GVKC) with latency at CL18-22-22-42 1.35v.
Will this cause PC issues if I install all 4 sticks into the PC? Or will it run at the slightly slower latency speeds? I am trying to decide if it is worth returning the product.
