  1. Also on Ryzen Master it says my CPU is 95 degrees (when its not) and HWINFO64 says its 32 degrees so maybe theres an issue there causing it to crash. Edit: contacted amazon and im returning my motherboard and cpu. Going to purchase the ASUS Prime B450-A (https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-PRIME-B450M-Socket-Motherboard/dp/B07F6YQV4J/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2NCSUNC8YN68S&dchild=1&keywords=asus+prime+b450m&qid=1590938343&sprefix=asus+p%2Caps%2C139&sr=8-1) Im also exchanging my CPU for a brand new one just incase. I will let you know once i rebuild if there is an issue. Thanks for all the help so far.
  2. I cleared the cmos no difference. I also reset the pc and reinstalled windows no difference again. Shall i disassemble and reassemble it?
  3. yeah just to let you know I did the memtest86 and theres 0 faults with the ram so you are correct its the mobo or cpu. Its 5am so tomorrow I will try the CMOS and if that doesnt work i need to order thermal paste to reseat the CPU. Thanks ill provide an update when I can! Appreciate the help so far.
  4. I have tried with slot 4 by itself and it crashed! Gigabyte has asked me to do a memtest86 with both rams in.
  5. Yeah its not pushing back, i assumed you meant cpu anyway. I put the ram back into the slots i had and i got a crash again. Ive checked my ram part number isnt on the compatible ram list on the gigabyte motherboard website. would it possibly be the ram? Going to try one slot in 4 now. Thanks!
  6. I tried the other stick and that works fine as well. the fan for my cpu kind of block the first slot so before i try rotating the cpu fan shall i try the ram sticks again as they were normally to make sure its the dual channel thats causing it?
  7. Just tried the 1 stick ram it works fine so far no crashes whereas normally itd crash by now. Does this mean I have to use just one stick ram?? Edit: Im trying it with the other ram on its own too to see if its the ram thats faulty.
  8. Thanks for the response! BIOS updated yep to version F50 Ram slot 1 and 2 per motherboard manual (there is a slot inbetween) Yep it is 2 and 4 from the cpu Im not overclocking its stock okay ill try the 1 stick of ram and let you know (when you say ramslot 2 do you mean 2 away from the cpu? its not too tight i made sure of that today.
  9. My first post here sorry. Ive built my pc for a few weeks now and started off fine except recently I randomly get a grey screen and the PC crashes. Theres a red light alternating between CPU and DRAM. Ive checked all the cables/connections and drivers and monitored the CPU & GPU temperatures and they're fine. Does anyone have any idea what I can do? If there is anything missing from my post please let me know.
