  1. Well I took your advice and for now I've just got 1 2tb drive, and as an when I need/want it I'll just get a second and have it as a separate drive.
  2. It's more for the convenience of only having a single large drive. Games these days are ballooning in size so it would be the primary requirement. I have a data HDD for larger files and games which don't really benefit from SSD performance. 2 drives is fine, but I'd prefer to avoid 3. Other than it being a hassle to rebuild if a drive did fail, I've never cared much about backups. I use cloud storage for anything I know I want backed up. Oh and I'd intend on building the array in the BIOS as I want to run a fresh install of windows off the new drive(s)
  3. Hi, I'm looking to future proof my storage needs for a while as my current 1tb SSD is constantly running out of space needing regular maintenance. My current MB supports 2 nvme M.2 drives at 4x so I was thinking about getting 2 x 2tb sabrent rockets: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sabrent-Rocket-Internal-Performance-SB-ROCKET-2TB/dp/B07MTQTNVR/ref=ya_st_pd_dx_wl_4/258-3457265-0507442 Then setting them up in Raid 0 to make them a single drive in windows. I don't care about the additional performance of Raid 0, these drives on their own will be plenty fast enough for my daily use as is! I just want a single drive letter for my boot drive. 4tb single drives right now are rare and stupid prices, so this seemed like the way to go for what I want. Is this a dumb idea for any reason?
