I had the same download issue with HWmonitor. I was able to side-step this by right-clicking the download button and "opening in a new tab". I think my AV software doesn't like the download page or something.

So from what I’ve read, the A40 mix-amp only requires the usb to work on pc. The TOSlink cable is a console thing mostly. Looks like I’ll be returning the sound card. At least this will improve airflow to my graphics card... Thanks for the quick response.

Just built my first PC! Super excited but i'm having an issue with my sound card. Because of budget restraints and supply issues, my motherboard lacks the SPDIF/optical jack for my Astro A40s (and 1st gen Mix-amp) Simple fix right? Buy a sound card. I went with the Asus Xonar AE 7.1 Surround PCI-E card. My issue is that the sound is delayed, sometimes almost 5 seconds, from the time i start a movie, music, or any audio from my computer. It's Synchronized, just takes time to "come on" if that makes any sense. I'll list my computer components below, and try to answer any questions. Thanks in advance. mb: AsRock B450M a/c cpu: R5 3600x Asus Xonar AE 7.1 PCIE sound card.
