  1. Hey, thanks for letting me know that it cant do 144Hz on HDMI! Do you happen to know any monitors that do?
  2. Greetings reader! Recently I've had the privilege to upgrade from my laptops low-contrast display, to hopefully a 120Hz monitor. I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52 which has 1 HDMI 1.4 and sadly no display ports. So I did some digging and I've set my eyes on LG Ultragear 27GL650F. Only thing is i don't know if the monitor supports 144Hz on HDMI. Please let me know if this model supports 144hz on HDMI and/or if not any other monitors that support 144hz on HDMI. Thanks!
  3. Tried, it still didn't work. I suspect my cousin might've damaged his motherboard but still thanks for the reply
  4. Hello User! Over the past 2 weeks I've been helping my cousin fix his PC which started crashing after a power surge in his house. He's got a: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1660 Motherboard: MSI B450m Pro VDH plus RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400MHz (2 sticks of 4 and 2 sticks of 8 ) PSU: Corsair VS 650 (650W) HDD:WD Blue 1TB Cabinet: Corsair Carbide spec 05 (His PC also has a Coolermaster Liquid cooling unit and 2 fans) He receives errors from windows saying that some of his files have been corrupted and his DirectX keeps producing errors when he plays COD Warzone and even Minecraft. I tried replacing his hard disk but it's still produces the same errors. His system has blue screened thrice over the past week too. So far we've tried everything from reinstalling windows, to replacing every piece of his system individually and we even tried installing Linux to see if it was just windows being windows. Unfortunately we've had no positive result and don't know what to do anymore. If you have any suggestions for what to do please let me know. Thanks for reading!
  5. Hello user! Recently I bought the brand new JBL Quantum 400 headset and I gotta say, for the money I paid it is worth it. Although I'm currently using them on stereo mode as I'm a noob when it comes to sound and don't know how to use the equalizer that comes with the Quantum Engine software. Does anyone know any good settings for the equalizer or know a guide which I can learn from. Thank you for reading this
  6. My cable has snapped right below my headsets volume controller. can i still solder it and heat shrink it?
  7. Help! I've had a Razer Kraken Pro V2 for about 2 years now and my headphone cable has been cut in half. Is it possible to open the headset and replace the cable?
  8. Thank you for the spreadsheet @Kisai! Unfortunately amazon isn't accepting returns for the monitor right now so I'm stuck with it for now. I guess I'll have to play CS:GO on stretched 1440x900 if I wanna play on 120hz.
  9. I'm aware that HDMI 2.0 can do 120hz+ at 1080p. However my model is capped to 60hz over HDMI for some reason. Must be my bad luck
  10. Help! I've recently bought myself a BenQ Zowie XL2411P (Which has a DP, HDMI 2.0 and DVI-D port) in the hopes of living the 144hz dream while gaming. However my laptop (Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52-57WR) only has a HDMI 2.0 port. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the monitor now, so rather than give up I went through Glenwing's Guide to Display Cables, which says that it is possible to still do 1080p on 120hz using an Active HDMI to DP adapter. It also says that these adapters tend to be unreliable so if anyone could recommend a decent adapter it would be very helpful.
