  1. In other words.. i don’t know the specs. What i do know is: dual intel cpu’s 8gb ECC ram fiberoptic cards designed to boot off another computer was used for MRI machines (medical equipment)
  2. This is stock, from siemen as a MRI image computer/server thing.. not a ton of info out there that i can find.. people selling them or talking about them. no real information that i can see that would help use it.
  3. So.. i got my hands on to a siemens 10498209.. I am new to servers and am wondering what this needs to boot (network, fiber optic connection, ect) also what would be the best purpose for this machine if i decided to attempt converting it into a personal server for my home network?
  4. I am building a workstation tower and have been researching the 2066 socket chip sets, and came across the 10900kf intel processor and noticed it is a dual channel, 128gb memory chip.. and i am putting in 256gb, not wanting to waste money or chips, came to see if that processor is pointless being that it will jot or can not utilize the 256gb 2399 mhz ram.
  5. CPU max memory is 128gb, motherboard supports 256gb... i need a clear explanation - does the CPU at 128gb mean that it will only be able to use that much data out of 256gb installed? Or am i missing something?
