I have 3 Thermaltake rgb fans that have been working properly for the 2 years I have owned them. I have recently purchased an Orico Usb expansion card as I have been looking at getting into VR. The card is a ORICO 5 Port USB3.0 PCI-E Expansion Card with Dual Chip (PVU3-5O2I-V1). The issue that I am having is that my rgb on the fans is still lighting up when I either sleep or shutdown my computer, the fans are no longer spinning just the lights are on. This issue only occurs when something is plugged into the expansion card, if the pc is asleep I can remove the usb device and the lights turn off but as soon as I plug it back in the lights come straight back on. The lights are not connected to the motherboard they are just on a separate controller connected to sata power, the fans are directly connected to the case specific front panel controller. The expansion card has been in different 1X slots and is molex powered. ASRock B360 Pro4 Motherboard. Thanks everyone!
