There is a small Update he connected his old HDD back in to check and seems audio is working fine on it.. and when he connects back the ssd the issue appears again.. So asked him to reinstall OS just in case.. Will update later

Hey Everyone, I just came across a weird issue with one of my friends PC.. Its Alienware X51. The problem is the speakers attached to it is not working Kinda... the speakers are like 4 or 5 years old i think.. but when i connect it to different pc or laptop it works fine.. but on this one its not working... this pc is just recently upgraded with a SSD and windows freshly installed on it with all the drivers and such. so far i tested updating drivers.. uninstalling drivers and let windows install the generic one.. nothing worked... so this is what actually happened 1. Started pc no sound from speaker.. played some audio on loop. the sound manger picks up the sound i think because the green bar thing goes up and down based on the audio. but nothing can be heard out of the speaker. set volume to max enabled and disabled enhancements.. and when i set the audio format from CD Quality to either DVD quality or Studio Quality can hear sound from speaker.. and it works fine but after a restart it stops working again.. and changing the audio format doesnt help after.. this same thing happens in both generic driver and realtek one. 2. With his PC off and mic connected. and turns on PC the speaker works. dont have to change any settings... even after restart it works... as long as the mic is connected... but the moment u unplug it and restart pc it stops working.. 3. I was doing remote support as well.. and all the time i can hear the sounds from his pc fine even though the speakers were not working. and i think i stopped hearing sounds the moment his speaker started working (havent tested this much) i dont know what else to try.. if you guys can help in any way.. i will be really grateful.. Hey everyone, so umm a friend of mine has this monitor "HP Compaq R201B". Whenever he uses his PC the display goes back and show the message "Monitor Going to Sleep" . Its completely random when it shows that message. He thought it might be his PC so he brought his PC to me. I checked it and it was working fine on my monitor i ran for over hmm 5 or 6 hours never got the message. and also he mentioned that he noticed most of the time it shows that message after a 30 mins of use.. so i ran aida for 30 mins and it ran fine.. Also to Note i used the Power Cable that came with his monitor but used my VGA cable instead of the one he brought.. not sure if vga cable has anything to do with this. i also tried swapping to onboard graphics on his PC.. it still worked fine.. He mentioned that he didnt know where his GPUs ports are so he was using Onboard VGA port. So ya i tried both and bot worked for me.. so asked him to try on his GPU port and he still has the same issue after a while it shows that message. Oh and ya he did say after that message appears display goes black and he cant bring it back from sleep anyway he has to restart it to make it work again. What could be the problem? Thank You EDIT 1: I dont exactly know his pc spec. i just know he has a GT 610 GPU. If you need other specification i can check and update here.

I am posting as a separate reply... cuz i did so many things and i think i have rounded it off... well let me explain what i did... last time tat is 1 day back i was running furmark.. it ran for 7 hours fine without any problem.. and when it was abt to reach 8hours it crashed and then it kept on crashing for a while like always... somi turned off the pc... removed all the connections... connected 1 ssd, 1 graphics card, 1 ram stick, all peripherals were connected though.. started the installation of OS... Note: Every time before installation i delete all partitions of the hdd an remake them just to clean it completely... i tried windows 10 and it completes the installation and it restarts and then it loads for a few seconds and BSOD... so next try i switched ram sticks.. and still same result.. so then i thought ok i will clean my pc... soi took out every part except motherboard processor and cpu cooler.. cleaned everything.. and blew air using canned air on motherboard and cpu cooler... then connected every single part but only with 1 stick of ram 1 graphics card and 1 ssd... disconnected every peripherals and went with the installation same as before.. switched ram and tried again.. this time i go blue screen during copying windows files... retried again and this time blue screen after restart.. so i gave up on windows 10 and went with windows 7... here same bsod during copying windows files.. and one time it installed and restarted and it was continuing installation and then BSOD... then i remembered having the same problem the first time i built this pc... so i went to the threads and figured out tat i disabled all onboard devicces in bios.. so i did the same but still the same... now no matter wat i do i get BSOD.. either during copying windows files or after restart... i think its my motherboard.. what do you guys think?? these r the threads abt that problem i had before... http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1659250/newly-bu... https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?32183-Newly-B... god i am kinda stuck here.. dont know what to do.. Hey Guys, well i am back again with another problem... This time i am getting BSODs T_T it all started yesterday.. i was just editing a word document and all of a sudden it froze and gave me the BSOD... there was not much information on BSOD as to what caused the issue.. so i restated and went with editing again... and in a few minutes it gave me the BSOD again... and after that it kept on giving me BSODs at random interval... completely random sometimes in 5 min sometimes after 30 mins.... but i tried going to safe mode but didnt give me any problem while i was in safemode.. so then i thought maybe it time i format my pc which i actually wanted to do for a long time.. so today morning i started reformatting the pc.. i was on windows 7 so i thought i will try windows 10 and so i started installing it... installation went fine... and after a few mins of complete installation i got a BSOD saying something "WHEA uncorrectable error".. this time it was quicker.. i mean the interval of BSODs.. sometimes it gave BSOD at login screen and sometimes after logging in... then i thought maybe compatibility issue so i went back to windows 7.. this time everything was fine.. there was no problem.. so i started installing drivers.. when i was installing IMEI driver it froze and gave a BSOD.. and after restart tried to install IMEI again didnt work it showed some error tat some drivers could not be installed or something... and after tat it kept on giving me BSODs one after the other.. so i went to safe mode.. and i got BSOD there too.. and now its in safe mode for more than 30 mins without BSOD.. i have no idea whats happening... i checked the Temp it was fine, Ran Prime95 while i was on win10 for abt 30mins didnt show aany error, reset bios, etc no matter what i did i get BSOD and sometimes i dont.. now i am afraid to move my mouse cuz sometimes when i move the pointer i get BSOD.. i somehow managed to get the minidmp files... http://www.mediafire.com/download/dn7opq2dak8nf9o/Minidmp.rar Hope you guys can help me... umm tried with 5 tabs... the same thing happened but after quite sometime... normally it happens a bit faster but this time it took like almost a day... umm i didnt know where to check exactly but there were some % near hdd max was 1.5% on the SSD and HDD 0%

Ohh okay i will try tat.. but it will take some time... because the problem doesnt arise right away will take sometime...

My CPU Usage is 10% sometimes and normally 6 to 7% and Physical Memory is 41% CPU Heat Max is 55 degree C GPU Max Heat is 45 Degree C HDD load where do i see that?? Restarting everytime is a pain T_T

wow umm well is there a simple way to do that or do i have to count all together.... There r sooo many Chrome Process in Taskmanager.... T_T well this is the total of all process 2724244 K and its increasing every second.... oh ya sorry about that... fixed it..

Thanks for the Reply i do have a SSD my OS is running off tat.... and to transfer all my 6TB of data to SSD... i dont have money for that.... OMG i didnt want to hear tat... Nooooooooooooooo waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay....... T_T

Hey Everyone, How are you all?? I am Back another weird problem... well i was using firefox for a long time but with the recent updates i sort of felt its too slow or something so i changed to Chrome... and i normally have like 25 tabs on startup... so just imagine this... I turn on the PC... plays music starts browsing the internet... for quite sometime it will be fine.... but after a while i feel some stuttering in performance... like u can hear in the audio file... the music was playing fine.. but all of a sudden it starts stuttering and Distorting... and during tat time if i move my mouse pointer it stutters too... dont why this is happening... even if i close chrome it doesnt stop once its started.... i have to restart to fix it... most of the time i checked this happens only when chrome is open for quite some time.... other time not as much... or u could say i dont feel any stutter at all... what could be the problem...??? Hope you guys can help me... Thanks

well they didnt know what the problem was... they just gave me a fixed board and its been 8 months now and its wrking fine.. hope it stays like that.. well ya it was board problem..
