  2. Just making sure, is OCing fine on this psu? i heard the wattage goes really high when you overclock and im worried that it will go over 550W
  3. Greetings, Im looking for a psu for i7 3770K and GTX 1660 super. My research lead me to TX550M which is about £70 on amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CP-9020133-UK-TX550M-Power-Supply/dp/B06WW8G3S8/ref=sr_1_3?crid=W5G9I5SI1OUH&dchild=1&keywords=cx550m&qid=1610475000&sprefix=cx550%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-3&th=1 Im planning to overclock both the CPU and the GPU will this PSU suffice? Budget for PSU is £70 max. Thank you for any input! EDIT: My current PSU is a Pulse PPS850BR, which seems to be... well... sketchy. Although it lasted about 8 years without giving any real issues lol.
  4. I only have one 6-pin, I also have one molex and two sata, anything I can do with this? My new graphics has about 125w consumption. But it is overclocked so it is probably higher than that. Could I cut and amend cables to "build" a proper 8-pin from the adaptor and the remaining sata and molex?
  5. Hi there, so I have a 6 pin PCIE with 3 yellow cables (I believe for +12V each) which means it should support 150W right?. Now, I bought a GTX 1660 super to replace my GTX 750Ti. As you may know the 1660 has 8 pin connector while the 750 have a 6 pin. So I bought an adapter for 6 to 8 pin. And was wondering if there will be any problems. I believe normal PCIE 6 pin have 75W capacity and connecting an adapter to power something at 150W would probably not be very safe. However as mentioned before this 6 pin PCIE should have 150W. My power supply has a capacity of 850W. Hopefully I got all the terms right lol.
