  1. how would the controllers and ps5 headset connect
  2. I know they don't work with the ps4 but wondering if they work with the ps5.
  3. Also, do I need gog galaxy to update the game?
  4. deciding whether to buy cyberpunk on steam or gog. It's cool that cd project get all of the money with gog and the game is drm free, but I'm just wondering if the updating experience is going to be much easier on steam? Also, I like games being in my steam library however I know you can add non steam games to your steam library.
  5. ok thanks bit annoying that then you can't use them as forward and back for chrome and stuff but works for gaming
  6. Hi, I'm not able to assign the side buttons on my mouse in games. It does nothing in black ops cold war or csgo and in rocket league it registers as "left" or "right" depending on which button. The buttons do work as forward and back in chrome.
  7. ohh right should I just uninstall it? I've been using this PC for like 6 months now without it.
  8. I've never seen or heard of this software before let alone intentionally downloaded it, but I just got a windows notification asking to give it permission or something.
  9. Thanks for the reply :). I've logged onto the tg router before so I will have a look. Would there be any issue with just trying plugging into the mesh system from the genexis and seeing if it worked? Would I have to configure anything?
  10. So we are connected to the internet through the genexis one (not sure of the model sorry) , then that plugs into the technicolor TG582N and then that plugs into our mesh system. The technicolor was provided by the ISP and the genexis was there when we moved in. Are they both the same thing and the technicolor could just be removed and the genexis plugged straight into the mesh system. We should be getting up to 500mbps internet speeds and the technicolor only had a 100mbps switch so is limiting us. I know the technicolor has WiFi connectivity and I'm not sure if the genexis does so maybe that is why the technicolor is used however we no longer need the WiFi connectivity from our internet gateway as we use the mesh system. So my question is can I get rid of the technicolor and plug the genexis straight into the mesh system to fully utilize our up to 500 Mbps bandwidth?
  11. Also it was the router which was provided by the ISP I think the genexis internet gateway was there when we moved in a while ago
  12. That thing goes into the tg582n and then that goes to a mesh system. Is there any reason why the genexis thing couldn't just plug straight into the mesh system?
  13. What's the difference between this and my router? I thought that the thing you get from your ISP (TG582N is my one) is an all in one router modem and switch.
  14. Does anyone know what the speed of the switch is in the Tilgin HG2301? I did try to search it up for myself but couldn't find anything.
  15. Ok I'll test the USB ports tomorrow and possibly buy a ps/2 or wireless adapter. Maybe a silly question but could I just plug the drive into a windows 10 pc and access the files like that? Edit: of course it doesn't use sata it uses some wide flat thing so that'd be a no Another edit: also why tf does it use 3 sticks of ram lol I would've thought computers couldn't use 3 sticks of ram for some reason, it just seems wrong.
  16. Appreciate the history lesson So I wouldn't be able to get online for it to be able to download the drivers without using the keyboard and mouse. I suppose it wouldn't be possible to use a usb hotspot with my phone would I?
  17. can't plug in a cat5 its the smaller thing. I have a cable which fits but doesnt fit into my wifi extender
  18. no its not a clean install and has not been used in years. The keyboard works in the BIOS so I am assuming that this is a windows issue. And it has not been connected to the internet since it was used years ago
  19. guessing the hd light is the green one under the power buttom. Was on most on the time whilst booting and then goes on and off whilst on the log in screen
  20. It's the modern dell oem keyboard that most schools and offices use so I wouldn't think that it would be usb 3. Also a technet gaming mouse and a basic lenovo mouse. I'll have a lok for the hard drive light now.
  21. Hi just tried to go onto an old Dell Dimension XPS T500, running Windows XP and on the log in screen the keyboard and mouse both do nothing. They work in the BIOS. They are plugged in via USB. Any help would be appreciated thanks
  22. Thanks for the reply. It's got a 4th gen i3 and 4 GB of ram. Its the HP ProDesk 400 G1 Sff I think but the labels kind of scratched
  23. I'm looking at building a NAS server but also think it would be cool to have a mc server too. Maybe a silly question but would it be possible to turn an old computer into both?
