  1. I'm no IT expert but, It sounds to me as if a fan is hitting a wire or something else when its spinning. have you by any chance checked for that ?
  2. Hi, my name is the PolishGuy It might sound very weird but i've been having a lot of problems when i press my Ctrl and D at the same time, Not only does it not work but it also starts to lag my pc when i hold it in (in games). I have checked if it could be my keyboard by pluging another one in but that still didin't work, i have also tried every single port on my pc and that also didin't work. it has left me to think that it could be my MotherBoard, my question here is, has anyone dealt with the same problem and what can i do. I am scared that i have f*cked my motherboard up by cleaning it with compressed air from a compressor. Here is my Parts list if that is what you need https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Buuverss/saved/#view=6ggYNG Any help is appriciated, Thank you in advance
  3. Alex and Tofu Thanks for the responses, you helped me out as far as you could, now I have to decide, but I think I'm gonna go with the 1080 ti or non ti depends on the deal I get. Thanks again and have a nice day ya'll
  4. thank you for responding, does it actually saty at around 144fps ? and is the gtx 1080 worth it for the same price as a gtx 1070 ti used ? whould it also be overkill if i'd buy the gtx 1080 ti ?
  5. Hi my name is polish guy, Im planning on buying a used gephics card for 1080p 144hz gaming i have been looking at used gtx 1080 ti's a lot and i have seen some for about 350+ euros. but i was wondering if a gtx 1070 ti whould be enough for 1080p 144hz gaming. the games that i mostly play are Apex legends, Gta V and sometimes valorant if you could help me with making my decision you're free to comment. thank you in advance
  6. Everything booted up properly the first time I started it, changed the xmp to enabled and it was still working properly, tried to disable the xmp to maybe fix the problem of ram on hardware reserved and that broke it down, I keep getting blue screens and can't get into windows at all, I also don't have any other ddr4 memory laying around only an 8gb stick of old ddr3 so I can't check if that is the problem. Should I try to flash the BIOS when I wake up tomorrow ?
  7. Shouldn't my dram led light up if it would be my ram problem ?
  8. I believe that, tried turning xmp on and off on both 1x8 and 2x8 config, none will work pc keeps getting blue screen, it all started when I turned off the xmp first time with both rams in the slots, could I have broken them or something like that ?
  9. Tried putting stick #1 and 2 in slot 2 but both keep getting blue screen saying bad system config info
  10. Update: it keeps trying to automatically repair but after that it boots and goes into a blue screen again, right now it's stuck at attempting repairs, haven't tried taking out the memory yet and trying it in slot 2
  11. I went into the BIOS and tried disabling the xmp and now when I try to start my system I keep getting blue screen
  12. did that, didin't help. ram is still at 16 but hardware reserved is 8,5, same as picture above
  13. just today i have built my pc up from scrach because of buing mostly new parts and after i started it up and went inot bios to change to the xmp setiing it was all ok, untill i checked my ram usage on the task manager, when i look into it i see that there is indeed 16 gb of memory installed but 8,5gb of it is hardware reserved, it was my first time building a pc so i don't know if i did something wrong, please help me if you can. my specs: Motherboard: Msi gaming plus max cpu: ryzen 5 3600 ram: Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3200 C16 psu: Seasonic Core Gold GC 650 ssd: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB M.2 SSD
  14. I'll think about the gtx 1080, still got some time before I have the money for it and and the case is the A variant so I'll just go with it
  15. Budget (including currency): 650 euros Country: The Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mostly Apex Legends occasionally some other games like Gta v or something like that Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Current PC: Hp pavilion 500-115ed with a gtx 1050 ti added Existing parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Buuverss/saved/#view=8VkrrH motherboard : Hp Memphis-S Case : basic Hp pavilion h500-115ed case and a hp power supply Parts i plan to upgrade: see image below \/ Im planning on buying the parts in a couple of days, maybe even tomorrow, so if you think i should change any part feel free to comment to what part and why it would be better. The only thing that really bugs me is if i should but the Samsung 970 Evo m.2 Ssd for 31 euros more than the crucial p1, the only up side i see on the samsung is its faster write and read speeds (1400mb/s faster write and 1500m/s faster read) i have never used an ssd so i am not sure if spending the 31 euros on the sumsung would be worth it (help me with this please) later on when i get enough money i plan on buying an used gtx 1080ti (for around 300-350 euro) Right now i play at 1080p 60hz because of my monitor and the gtx1050 ti but later on when i have the gtx 1080 ti i plan on buying a 144hz monitor. Thanks for reading and maybe commenting. Have a nice day, Polish Guy.
  16. Thank you very much for your answer, you helped me a little, i've kept the cooler master cooler tho in case of ram clearance, also good call on that psu and ssd they are better and cheaper than my other choices here is the updated build:
  17. i will consider, not planning to oc at the beginning because im not really known with that but maybe in the future so i plan to buy the cpu cooler anyways, but i dont really see an upside to the x version of the 3600
  18. I live in the netherlands and i can get a gtx 1080 ti used for 300 - 450 Euro but can't find a used 2060s so i'd need to buy a new one for 450+ euro
  19. Should be fixed, thanks for info
  20. Budget (including currency): about 600 euros Country: The Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mostly playing games like Apex Legends, Gta V, Leage of legends and probably more in the future Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Current PC: Hp pavilion 500-115ed with a gtx 1050 ti added Existing parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Buuverss/saved/#view=8VkrrH motherboard : Hp Memphis-S Case : basic Hp pavilion h500-115ed case and a hp power supply Parts i plan to buy: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Buuverss/saved/#view=xjd2Vn I plan on buying the gtx 1080 ti used and a new ssd and a hdd later on when i get enough money, at first i wanna upgrade the cpu and ram ( in like a month or two) so i'll keep my gtx 1050 ti and my 1tb hdd at first if you think i should upgrade to something else or choose another case (im thinking about the nzxt h510 or the fractal design Meshify C, i really like the design of the nzxt but i've heard the temperatures aren't the best on it and my room is very dusty all the time, even when i swipe the dust every day and i dont fully like the design of the Meshify C) or any other component you're free to comment I'm planning to play on 1080p 60hz at first and maybe upgrading to 1080p or 1440p 144hz when i have enough money I already have a good enough monitor for now a sharkoon keyboard and a razer Naga mouse so i don't really need an upgrade from those soon. Thanks for the help already, have a nice day, Polish Guy
