  1. I really like the Red Hyte Y60 and I want to get a 4090 gpu. PC part picker won’t let me add the case as a choice. I saw JayzTwoCents video where he did this build but I’m curious about long term temps. The MSI Suprim Liquid 4090 seems to be much smaller than the other 4090s but I don’t want to waste time and money on a case that won’t work for me.

  3. What do you think about the asrock steel legend x670 that’s like 299 since you like asrock! I think I’m leaning more towards msi but want to hear some thoughts! Only think I heard so far was lengthy boot up time but a few seconds don’t bother me too much
  4. Thank you for the quick response, I wouldn’t mind switching to Intel, I just don’t know how much I’d lose with gaming!
  5. So I have been thinking about buying this cpu for a gaming build. I am just a bit nervous with the recent talk of it overheating, do you guys think I’d do better with Intel. I want to get a hyte y60 case msi 4090 suprim liquid teamgroup ddr5 6000 64gb 7800x3d samsung 2tb 980 m.2 Deepcool aio or any recommendations? corsair 1200 psu platinum 80+ best fan recommendations? I need to know what motherboards you all think would be best for this setup where my pc will be safe, I don’t really Overclock or anything…trying to go all out on this, I haven’t replace my rig in like 6 years
  6. I am honestly not sure, I believe non integrated. How would I know if its non integrated tho? This is my laptop https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Display-GeForce-Keyboard-G533ZW-AS94/dp/B09RMW1L7Y/ref=sr_1_4?crid=SAD6GAPQJQO5&keywords=asus+rog&qid=1656654609&sprefix=asus+rog%2Caps%2C67&sr=8-4
  7. Budget (including currency): 400 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Halo Infinite Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So I recently purchased an Asus Laptop: Specs: I9 Processor 16 gb Ram 3070 Ti 8 gb 1 Tb M.2 Hd The screen advertises 300 Hz windows 11 This is my first gaming laptop and I guess I was not educated enough about laptop gpus. I am only pulling about 58 FPS. I have a 2080 super in my main pc and I get up to 240 fps if not more. I guess my question is can I achieve a much higher FPS on my laptop and do I have the wrong settings? I was looking into eGPU, and my question is if I had a portable gpu would it make that much of a difference and can I play it on my 300Hz Display on my laptop and get a higher FPS?
  8. So if I were to switch to HDMI - would I lose my 144hz…I have the DisplayPort hooked up so I can get the higher refresh rate. Unless, is there a way to get 144 from hdmi? I have a 2080 Super and a Dell 1440p 144hz monitor.
  9. Screen is shifted over a couple rows of pixels and I can’t figure out how to fix it. I have checked display settings. I have a dell 1440p monitor and and a 1080p second monitor. I tried to fix it in my nvidia settings and I restored my monitor to default settings. It doesn’t just do this on halo, it does it to everything I open, it cuts of letters of any text displayed on my monitor
  10. its a 3900x im not real sure how to use event viewer so heres a screenshot i guess would be why are they doing that all of a sudden
