  1. just tried a different motheboard, everything seems spotless shame ! anyone fancy a dodgy mobo ?
  2. yeah I reckon the mobo is gone gone, tried everything and still doing the same issue, thanks for the help anyway guys
  3. cpu fan connected properly and still doing the same issue =/
  4. Ok I will try that in a minute, any way of resetting the bios to factory settings? besides the jumper& battery way? cuz all the other items works absolutely fine
  5. hi, ty for the replies, no other mobo pins been bent, i checked everything, could the motheboard been faulty now? ty
  6. hi guys I have put this rig together and i am having trouble to make it boot. here is a video of what is happening: So far I tried this with no luck: I tried a different PSU, differenr RAM, CPU, and GPU, so i'm guessing the mobo is somehow dodgy. it was working fine when i first got it. looking for help. thank you
  7. it finally worked, ffs it was such a pain in the arse. I never ever done anything similar to this but it worked and its fine now, finally managed to install the driver, it was indeed a different firmware in the gpu chipset so with the softwares and some twitches here and there, it works now ty guys
  8. I tried to upload the firmware using the atiflash from techpowerup, but as soon as I upload the file it crashes and it wont load up, so I need to reset the pc
  9. it is a used card yes, okay I will have a look at that, thank you !!
  10. it does boot into windows and it works fine, but I cant access to the gpu or install anything
  11. hi guys, been having one of a kind issue here lately in this build. the windows won't simply recognize any of the drivers I try to install and even amd auto software thing won't let me install the drivers, and then when sometimes it does let me install the drivers, there is a message saying ' no amd graphics driver ins installed, or the amd driver is not function properly. please install the amd driver appropriate for your amd hardware.' which I did. I tried to install the radeon 570 specific driver. other than sticking a different GPU here. not sure how to get around this. many thanks in advance
  12. good point, i have left that psu aside now haha.
  13. also without opening another topic. i'm on a dilemma here and im not sure which one is gone, if it is the motheboard or the cpu. everything is connected properly. installed properly etc. symptons are: the case itself turns on, no lights blink so no booting on the keyboard. i'm tempted to try another mobo i got here to check it. isn't the ram or the gpu as they were working in another PC. ty
  14. current doing that on one but it requires 2 molex to turn into 1 8 pin and im currently using 1 of the molex for something else like fans or something. corsair wise they are good for more recent boards i have to agree.
  15. Hi guys, since quarantined started i have been building budget PC's and selling them for pennies as i'm bored and it is always good to learn something new. back in the days(2004-2008) any PSU would do the job as it was no confusion what so ever. as far as i remember. nowadays when i'm building something. some PSU's come with 6 PCI-e some others with 6/8 and some even with 2x 6/8 which is decent. but for example some old motheboards like asustek p8z68 v lx comes with the usual 24 mobo pin, plus 8 cpu pin. some other boards like MSI H61M-P31 W8/G3 LGA1155 Motherboard does not. I usually go for the normal psu 500w ( when my build needs around 350) with 6 pin PCIE for a gtx 1060. and things seems okay. but sometimes it does take me quite a long time to find a psu who will have the cables i need as all GPU's and motheboards/cpus needs a different connectors. is there an easy way to get around this? thank you.
