  1. your tag at the bottom says to ping you so you can see the reply post. I didn't initially have it in so I edited it in hopes of it working.
  2. Power is plugged in and fans are spinning. The Motherboard sees nothing is plugged into the slot via the BIOS and Windows doesn't see it in the device manager under graphics adapters. Does it still ping when its been edited in?: @BlueScope819
  3. Hello all, Recently my brother bought parts to build a PC list here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/n9spk6 We gave it to a family friend to build and install everything that has been doing this as his line of work for 30+ years. Well, he goes to boot it on and the graphics are card is not being found no matter what. BIOS ver. E7B98IMS.180 build date is 12/25/19. So we went to best buy where we bought it from and they said it was a bad card and gave us another one. I went to plug it in today to see if it worked and it wasn't found. I tried the bottom slot to no avail. Went into the BIOS and it says nothing is in the slot. We are starting to believe that the board might be the issue but before we go out and buy another one I wanted to check here to see if we are potentially missing anything. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Added more info
  4. Okay not to bad, if you don't mind me asking would it be possible if you could help me with something for my brother. Main goals with that one is gaming pc meant for sim racing and medium performance games with a bit of future proofing. This one has a budget of around $1500, must use an intel processor. Peripherals are outside of that budget though. Thanks in advance.
  5. How long until 10th gen? Not in a rush to make this if something better is right around the corner.
  6. So I put this together quickly in PC Partpicker: Its a bit over budget but I do not mind it as this has a decent amount of USB ports for parts that I can find. 7. Original budget did not include that but if a decent 1440p monitor can be found I would be fine with it being tacked on.
  8. Budget (including currency): $1750-$2250 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Sim Racing, VR, Music and Video Production, Potentially Streaming, major releases in the future Other details Here is my current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Lalna_Rocks/saved/83KQD3 The reason why I'd like to upgrade is my PC is starting to show her age in terms of performance on new games and some old ones with intensive mods (such as sol weather and dynamic lights in Asetto Corsa). I'd also like to get into VR but I'm a bit afraid I would be over stressing my current rig. I have been out the parts scene for a few years now so I have no clue about what the best parts would be for what I need. Thanks in advance.
