hey ive found some OLD post that say 13.1 volts is the maximum voltage you would want to run the D5 have you tested running at 24volts at all i noticed my pump actually changed pitch and get a little quieter when i went to 24volts in the winter things are so cold here that nothing seems to changed the temps (NEW BLOCKS NEW RAD ETC ETC. anyway im going to try to run with all my fans off then disconnect the 24 volt adapter and go with 12volt to see if i get a temp raise. also I think motherboard 24 pin connectors have a 19volt if I do get a boost out of my 12volt to 24volt step up I may just start useing a wiretap or something like that & use the 19 volt power adapter instead in my other systems. 

anyway please get back to me asap im in the middle of building my system I really want to know if i should waste anymore time with this if you have already tested the D5 at 24volts
