  1. Completed the instructions based on the thread above. If I don't get any more BSODs, then it fixed it, although I may have to wait a while to see.
  2. Well I only have the one SSD (an Intel SSDPEKNU512GZ), so that solves that lol I got Windbg and looked at the dump file and found this thread based on the failure bucket ID so I'm giving that a try.
  3. I'm gonna be honest, what I did I did during the thick of exam season so I really don't remember. I know that I did basic troubleshooting stuff like checking drivers, and I eventually found a thread saying that I should delete another ASUS bloatware program, which I did, but it obviously didn't work. I don't remember the name of the program though. I'm so sorry I know that's super unhelpful but that's what I've got.
  4. Damn, I was guessing it could be armory crate. I really don't want to loose the functionility I get with armory crate though...
  5. Yeah sorry about that. I realized after posting this that I posted the wrong files...my bad. The correct dump files are attatched. minidumps.zip
  6. This BSOD has been happening for a while. I've tried a number of things suggested for the ntoskrnl BSODs. Dates ntoskrnl BSODs have happened: 01/05/24 17/04/24 23/03/24 20/03/24 Computer info: ASUS ROG STRIX - G15 Model NO.: G513QY-SG15.R96800 MS Windows 11 Home - 10.0.22631 Build 22631 AMD Ryzen 9 5980HX AMD Radeon RX 6800M MOBO: ASUSTeK G513QY Purchased 11/23 Minidumps for above dates are attatched. 050124-14312-01.dmp.txt 041724-15375-01.dmp.txt 032324-16281-01.dmp.txt 032024-14296-01.dmp.txt
  7. I figured out that it was an issue with the hands-free feature on my headphones causing the audio quality to downgrade from A2DP to HSP or HFP due the bandwidth demand from the hands-free feature. Here's a guide on how to disable it for anyone who may find this post in the future: Windows 11 https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/fix-for-low-bluetooth-audio-quality-due-to-hands/70b611be-2d69-4696-9071-93f5eb0881fd Other Windows versions https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/fix-for-bluetooth-headphones-or-speaker-using/7023c43b-c001-42e9-9ec9-95a8f96a4b4c#:~:text=Open Devices and Printers from, free Telephony and click OK
  8. This problem is only present in games. Everything else is fine; spotify, youtube, etc. I'll launch a game and after a bit (30 seconds ish) the audio becomes super tiny and thin. Before this happens, the audio sounds normal and full. This is happening on all of my headphones. I've tried it with airpods, my Jabhra headphones, and my wired earbuds. I originally thought it was some issue with Bluetooth but it started happening with my wired earbuds today. I think it has to do with mic inputs possibly because I changed the mic input for Deep Rock Galactic to something other than my Jabhra headphones and it worked fine with no issues. Doing the same for my airpods did nothing. I believe it happens when the game I'm playing starts asking for a mic input. I've checked drivers and run the audio troubleshooter multiple times. I've also tried disabling enhancements and that did nothing. Please help! Specs: ASUS - ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition AMD Ryzen 9 5980HX AMD Radeon RX 6800M 16gb (2x8gb) @ 3200 Mhz
  9. I'm not at the computer right now but its got a 1tb HDD (not sure about that storage size) and an M.2 SSD I'm thinking it's dying storage now.......
  10. Alienware prebuilt - Aurora R7 Intel core i7-8700 16gb ram ddr4 GTX 1080 Super slow boot times as stated in title. After login, desktop is unresponsive for around 30 seconds to a minute. Games can take ages to load. Chrome browser will occasionally freeze. Full control of the rest of the pc but the browser is unresponsive. Eventually comes back but is insanely choppy and laggy for a while. I'm at a loss...
  11. That's what I had before this computer. They're very ok lol.
  12. Why would NVIDIA release a driver that tanked performance like that?
  13. Installing the second newest driver significantly increased performance, but I'm still not getting the perfect fps that I was. sigh
  14. That could be, but it doesn't make sense that my performance would have tanked without installing any new drivers. I will try that either way.
  15. My RTX 2060's performance absolutely tanked for no reason that I can think of. This morning, it was running fine. Chugging through games and doing a very steady 120 fps. A couple hours later, and it's rarely keeping 120, and usually sitting around 90 in Deep Rock Galactic on max settings, and sitting around 60 in Sea of Thieves at max settings. Everything I've been playing has been perfect 120 fps at max settings. My temps have been around 40-50 C under low load, and 50-60 C under load. CPU temps have been around 40-50 C under low load, and 50 - 60 under load. I have done absolutely 0 overclocking. Absolutely nothing has changed in between when I had perfect performance and when it tanked. I've restarted, done my best to make sure the GPU wouldn't be thermal throttling for some reason, updated fan curves, completely uninstalled GPU drivers, reinstalled them, reinstalled them again, and restarted some more. I am completely out of ideas, and this makes me sad.
