Yeah i basically went for the cheapest one I could find on Amazon at the time, because I very much dont care about how my PC looks, just how it performs. But lesson learned, turns out it does make sense to get a decent case even if you don't care about looks... For now, I'll just use it without a side panel.

Well F me, you were right. I removed the sidepanel and ran both stress tests, turns out my max CPU temps are 10C lower, and my max GPU temps are 25C lower. Its been running for 22 minutes now with no issues, when before it would shutdown after like 8 minutes max. I guess that the problem is fixed, I'll play some Warzone later to be sure. Thanks!

on the GPU. And that cant possibly be the reason because it reaches such temperatures when i stress the GPU alone, and nothing happens. SPECS Ryzen 5 1600 - No overclock Asus RX 580 4GB - No overclock GIGABYTE B450M DS3H-CF Corsair RM 550W 2x8GB 3000MHz DDR4 RAM (CMW16GX4M2C3200C16) I noticed that i can't finish even a single match of CoD Warzone, my pc just turns off abruptly in the middle of the match. I thought it was a problem with the game, because i play csgo all the time and never had issues. Then I installed BFV, another heavy game, and turns out my pc also shuts down after some minutes of gameplay. So i started troubleshooting: I ran MemTest64 for 5 hours: No issues found I ran Heaven Benchmark GPU stress for 1 hour: No issues I ran Heavy Loard CPU stress for 1 hour: No issues BUT when i run heavy load + heaven benchmark, it takes about 5-10 minutes and then the same shutdown happens. Apparently when I put a big task on GPU and CPU at the same time, my PC cant handle it. I have absolutely zero extra parts to continue troubleshooting, so i really need some guidance on what to do next Its worth noting that at no point my GPU used more than 145W (according to AMD driver and HWinfo64) , even tho the internet says it could go above 200W easy. At no point did any temperature, of any part of my PC go above 88C.

Would my BIOS automatically overclock my timings?

Ah so the problem is that my processor doesn't handle well 3200MHz? I'm ok with that... You think it would be a good idea to Underclock my ram to 3000MHz and at the same time Overclock my timings to 15 or even 14?

It's the old R5 1600. What do you mean pickey? Before this, i was using another Corsair RAM kit, 2x8gb 3000MHz, but a friend of mine is building a new PC and i decided to donate my old kit, and buy a new one with RGB. After testing it seems that running this new RAM at 3000MHz works just fine, which is a relief but disappointing. I mean, i paid for these extra 200MHz that I can't use for some reason... At first I put them on the same slots where my old kit was, slot 1 and 3. Then I changed to slot 2 and 4. This apparently made zero difference.

Hi guys, I just bought 2 new 8gb sticks of RAM from corsair (CMW16GX4M2C3200C16) from Amazon. The problem is, I'm getting BSODs after some time when running at the 3200MHz advertized. I ran MemTest64 for 30mins and got 11 errors, followed by BSOD. I cleaned the slots, the ram itself, put on different slots even, and the problems continued.I reduced the clock to 3000MHz and apparently everything got fixed, the system is stable and MemTest64 reports no errors. Did I receive "weak" RAM modules? Why can't I run at the best clock speeds possible? Should I complain and get it switched? I'm just a little lost here because I never actually had RAM problems in the past.
