That was without dropping any resolution though, so we'll see, I'd use an external monitor for proper gaming anyhow. I'd build a desktop but I need a laptop for other things.

I'm looking at buying a Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 as a new daily driver laptop, and I'm wondering if halving the screen's resolution will allow me to raise the refresh rate. I'm looking at buying the RTX2060 2560x1440 60Hz and dropping it to 1920x1080 with the refresh of 120 Hz. Not a massive deal if it doesn't work but would be nice. I know you can buy the 1080p 120Hz units but they don't come with the 2060. Edit: I know my math is off
