  1. Nvm got it. He showed the name for a sec.
  2. I saw the new Noctua 3070 and thought what a waste, why not put that configuration on a hot/loud card.... so I did. I'm new to 3D printing and modeling so it's not perfect but it's what I can do. So dam quiet now, I hated the 3 fans. Cooling was never an issue but it helped with that too. It's an EVGA 3080Ti FTW3 Ultra. I need to run some tests for accurate numbers but right off the bat, cooler and SO QUIET. It's chunky but so is the official Noctua version. 120mm fans are thick. Btw fans are white, camera pick them up as purple. Cheapo fans.
  3. I'll do a bios update and see if that fixes it. Seems like a reasonable reason for it to not work, easy fix too.
  4. I haven't updated the BIOS yet as I have to clear the CMOS multiple times while troubleshooting this ram problem. The CPU works out of the box, it's compatible. I'll do a bios update in like 30 minutes.
  5. Everything is listed in the OG post. The board can handle up to 5100MHz so I doubt that's the problem.
  6. I have a 5800x and have run 3600 before. That's not the problem. I think it's the motherboard not the ram.
  7. My original motherboard had grounding issues so the Bluetooth would appear and disappear so I got a new one. Everything works fine but the LED for DRAM is lit up like Rudolph's nose. The computer boots and everything works but when I go into bios and set XMP Profile 1, the PC refuses to boot. I have to remove the GPU to access the CMOS battery to clear it back to default so it can boot again. I've used XMP profiles on the last motherboard and this one is better. It goes to 4200 or higher I can't remember. Ram are in properly, I've tried each stick and none of them boot into XMP profile. 32 gigs pops up and I did a windows memory test and it says ram is good. Right now I'm left with low speed ram that works great and xmp profile that refuses to boot. Something must be off with the motherboard. MSI B550 Gaming Edge Wifi with 32 GB G.Skill Ripjaws capable of 3600. Guys is it possible the ram is broken but not at the same time. Like it's broken at 3600 but not at lower speeds?
  8. Mine stopped working too and everyone tells me to do this but I tried and it didn't work. The CMOS was definitely cleared and any power left over should have been drained yet the BT is still messed up. I didn't pay this much for a piece of shit to not work.
  9. The BIOS was bugged, not outdated. I just reinstalled the same one and it worked.
  10. How can that be. Computers don't pick and choose USBs. Either it works or it doesn't. Let's say this PC doesn't like this USB, I have other ones I can use but I doubt that's the problem. I got it from Microsoft, October 2020. It's the newest one they have.
  11. They're all brand new with 5000 series CPUs and 3080s. Nothing different. The USB isn't the problem, it worked for the other PCs. Straight from Microsoft
  12. Yea, I used this USB to install it on 3 other PC's this week. It doesn't work on this PC. I remade it and the same problem comes up. It's not Windows, it's the computer.
  13. I just made an awesome PC with 5800x and 3080 but Windows refuses to download. When I boot to the USB, a giant windows logo pops up but nothing happens. It doesn't ask me to continue or select a drive to download to. If you know how to fix this problem, please let me know. I'm about to sell this piece of shit.
  14. Yea that's a great board, I'll take that one thanks.
  15. I don't plan on overclocking and definitely not going to pay 700 plus tax for a GPU. I'm only getting the 3070 because it's a great deal.
