    I was looking at the size of the 6 or 8 tray synology as basis for form and size

    - form factor not sure what you mean, sorry am new to this

    Do you need to do anything other than a nas on there? A basic nas can run on pretty low end hardware.

    1st time building a desktop PC 

    Help with choosing parts(ie: motherboard, graphics card, ram, etc.) to go with the CPU, I have attached a list of peripherals that is available in the Country.

    Other parts can also be recommended and I will source it

    Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: office work, youtube playing for gatherings, movie storage and stream, photo storage and back up

    Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

    NAS hub would be located on the 3rd floor, access of files in the office on the ground floor and sometimes on the 3rd floor.

    starting from scratch, any help would be appreciated
