  1. Thank you so much, the point of view of someone who used both phones is really helpful
  2. my biggest concern is the exynos chip, which is 30% slower than snapdragon and the battery drains way faster
  3. well shit, those aren´t very good news
  4. Here, the best option is buying online.
  5. I Know that around here we talk mostly about pc realted tech but I thought someone could give me a hand First and foremost, I from Argentina which means prices don't follow any logical rule. I really but really like OnePlus. For the past year always knew that if I had to buy a phone I would go with the 7pro. When the 8pro came out, I fall in love, until I heard the price. The fact it's that if I wanna buy a OnePlus phone, it need to be imported from other country. My main option is Amazon Europe, since things usually get here with no much trouble, except for the 30% tax (big off). Recently have been thinking that the 7pro would still be a great phone but will end up costing 800 dollars and don't think it's fair. On the other hand, Samsung phones prices are somewhat cheap, I'm talking 700 for the S20 and 790ish for the S20 plus. Up to here seems as a no brainer, go with Samsung, after all they are good phones, no OnePlus, but good phones. Here's were things start to get tricky, Samsung only sells exynos here. Heard and read not very good things of those. I've been rocking a $250 Moto G4 for the past 4 years, which dies whenever the battery goes under 30%, and my love and enthusiasm for technology has lead me wanting get a good phone for the first time in my life. To sum up, don't know if I have any other option in this situation, any solution/suggestion is highly welcomed. Until then I'll go and cry in my room trying to figure out a smart way so as to get inside a suitcase and go live somewhere else.
  6. Hello everyone, So for a couple of weeks now I´ve been looking for a good mechanical keyboard with either cherry mx or otemu brown switches. My current keyboard is from Genius, a really generic and old one. Never got any type of mechanical / semi-mechanical keyboard. RGB isn´t a must but it would be nice to have as it seems really eye-catching for a starter as myself. Really like the ten key less aesthetic but here in Argentina there isn´t much variety so not gonna be too picky about it. Decided to go with brown switches for their attractive tactile feature, but not quite a fun of the loud blue ones. Wouldn´t say I have a tight budget but something arround 90-100 bucks would be my top. Heard lots of good stuff about some cherry replicas sucha as otemu or the ones from logitech. Either way any reccomendation is really welcomed as very few are able to get down here, so the more the better. Thanks a lot and have a good day!!
