  1. Hello there everyone. I've been trying to figure what cpu/motherboard to upgrade to. I'm trying to get an i3-12100 and a b660 ds3h motherboard but im worried about whether lanes will be an issue. I'm gonna use a 6600xt and a wifi card with it. will there be enough lanes?/is there any other compatibility I should be worried about? thank you.
  2. how do i do that, i noticed that it said i wasnt in safe mode but idk how to put it into that
  3. that could be it, but the guy i got the gpu said he was also having issues with it. ill definitely look into it tho
  4. i recently purchased a second hand 2060 ko. When ever i launch a game, ill start playing and then a few minutes later, my gpu will spike to 100% utilization and then the game will crash. Ive tried completely removing the drivers and doing a clean install. Ive tried underclocking and undervolting. I've tried flashing a more up to date vbios onto the card and nothing has worked. im stumped. please help. system specs R5 1600 af EVGA 2060 KO Asus ROG Strix b450-f Gaming mobo Seasonic S12III-550 550 wat 80+ bronze powersupply gskill vengence 16gb 3200mzh 415817090_Newvideo.mp4
  5. UPDATE: I ran occt while running fornite and saw that the moment it crashed, gpu load spiked to 100% and caused the game to completely lock up, then load dropped to zero, memory stayed normal.
  6. i have a seasonic s12-550. I used device manager to delete the drivers and then reinstalled them from nvidias website
  7. i was running a r5 1600 af and a 1660 super for a while and wanted an upgrade so i bought a second hand evga 2060 ko off ebay. Ill load into a game and then it will crash either at random or when it loads into a scene that can be controlled (like the "you are not expected to survive" text at the beginning of the first campaign mission in battlefield 1 or just at random moments in fortnite. i havent really noticed anything fishy about temps or anything except the fact the i think gpu utilization spiking to close to %100 right before it crashes. I tried undervolting, fully removing and reinstalling drivers, both versions of the 2060 drivers, but im honestly not sure what the issue is. anyone know?
  8. ill try that wire trick to see if the fans starts up
  9. would you by any chance have any idea why it wouldn't be turning on?
  10. SO im assembling my PC but i do not have a CPU. Should my PC be able to turn on (Not post, not boot, but simply turn on and have power deliver to the parts) without it. it isn't and I'm wondering if I should be worried. thank you!
  11. Hi, I recently built my first ever pc and there had been a few... lets say issues. when i first built the pc, it was working great, until i turned it off for the night and went to turn it back on the next morning. it went through everything normally untill reaching the motherboard logo screen where the loading wheel froze and then the top part of the logo gets cut off. The PC then either restarts, and repeats this process, or restarts and starts the "Diagnosing PC" process and then brings me to a windows menu that says "Your PC didn't start correctly" I've tried changing things in the bios, i've reinstalled windows multiple times and i even changed out the motherboard and ram, as well as the storage. I have no clue as to what it could be so im asking you fine, much more qualified people, for help.
