After looking around online it appears that I do have the latest bios version for this specific card. 'BIOS Version 017.001.000.049' When you say the fans are loosely connected are you talking about the physical fan housing or the connector to the board may be loose?

I just purchased a Sapphire Pules 5700xt and after playing some games I noticed that the fans seemed to be pulsing at high RPM. After listening for a few minutes I pushed the fan speed curve higher and the pulsing became worse. The pulse is uneven but has a constant rhythm, which leads me to believe that the fans are spinning at different speeds. Is this a known issue and is there any known fix? or did I receive a bad card?
