  1. I'm happy to inform you that I believe this has worked. Same place in the witcher 3 just got 10-15 FPS more, as much as my friend had. I am also happy to announce that you, sir, just made my day. Thank you. It also seems my GPU is now bein used 100% and my CPU isn't at 100% anymore. Weird but it helped.
  2. I did come from an nvidia gtx 970. So it might not work
  3. I will try, although first thing I did was to remove and reinstall the drivers.
  4. I did a reïnstall yes, but i'm not sure if correctly done. Is there a guide so I can redo it?
  5. When I ran at stock the same thing was happening. 100% usage and less FPS than my mate and some YouTube benchmarks.
  6. Yeah that's what I thought. I'm running at 1080p and max settings when I was testing the games, for bf5 i turned on ray tracing. The settings and resolution were the same as my friend used.
  7. MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC mobo I5-8600k @4.8Ghz Corsair H100i Cooler Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC 3X 16GB Vengeance RGB RAM 2666Mhz I played: BF5, Mordhau, AC Odyssey, The witcher 3. Every game my CPU is at 100% and my GPU is at 40-60% but weirdly never at 100%. Temperatures are fine. FPS is high but not as high as my friend who has an i7-7700. So it might be a bottleneck, but I looked around before buying the card and people said i5-8600k should be fine.
  8. Hello, Just upgraded to said GPU, got bad performance, asked around and apparently I have a bottleneck. I have my CPU OC'd @ 4.8GHz. Do I indeed have a bottleneck here?
  9. Okay well, I still have one question. In unigine superposition, I got a good score, better than my friend's (with the 7700). And my CPU was only at 30% usage. No bottleneck here. So it might just be CPU intensive games. But that doesnt explain the difference between me and my friend's FPS.
  10. the vid is 8 months old. Is that too old? thought spectre was a little older
  11. I already reinstalled my driver's, temperatures and clock speeds are fine, vsync is turned off in every game. Resolution is always 1080p.
  12. I have a water cooler and a z390 board so no problem there. Also I just looked up a benchmark between the r5 3600 and it 8600k, difference of 5 fps, so explain that. Because I still doubt there's a bottleneck.
  13. I do already have a 2070s but now I don't have any money left. I'm a student so yeah... Well thanks for the help, guess I'll be gaming with a small bottleneck then.
