  3. Its not 1 file man, you want me to individually put each file as code on the page?
  4. Hey guys! I've recently discovered this fantastic Chrome browser extension that lets you play Animal Crossing Music in your browser, which is a great idea as the Games always have had different music for different times of day. But the creator has abandoned the work and that smartass's only link is a NeoGaf forum post... I'm not the best in JavaScript but I managed to correct some stuff and re-edit the music so that the loops are cleaner, I haven't finished though. This extension has some more work to go through: - Adding the town chime (possibly customizable) at the beginning of each hour, - Possibly checking a weather source (yahoo for e.g) with what type of music gets to play (as there is a normal, rainy and snowy version of each track), - More options for what tracks to play, - Special events music (there are tracks for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc.) Chrome Store Extension So I'm looking for Javascript coders to help me finish this work, please contact me if interested. +Jack Carver Here is my work so far: MEGA

  6. FOUND IT! Asus Xonar U7 or Echelon edition just for the extra features Asus Xonar U7 Asus Xonar U7 Echelon Edition Its not as sleek and sober than the U7 standard edition but has a voice enhancing feature that the original U7 does not have. Both have Surround, RCA, Mic Input, Headphone amp, Asus Xonar Grade Quality and one click source switching. Perfect. Still don't know if I can deal with the tradeoff. The standard U7 does look very nice. Edit: You can Install the software features of the Echelon on the U7, so thats what I got. By doing this I found on a Forum: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=382708 " At first I'm sorry for my English How to install U7 Echelon driver for U7 (x64 only): After deleting U7 driver: 1) Boot from "Disable driver signature enforcement" (F7) 2) Download this archive: http://yadi.sk/d/z3xJEiKkETgKt 3) Primarily ruining nhAsusU7Camo_64.msi from this archive, and do NOT reboot 4) Go to C:\Program Files\ASUSTeKcomputer.Inc\nhAsusU7Camo\StockDriver \CMediaU7Camo\ and replace from archive nhAsusU7Camo.inf if you have Win 8 or 8.1, and if you have Windows 7 you mos download this .inf: and replace from him , 5) Launch Device manger, and manually update the driver software for U7 from C:\Program Files\ASUSTeKcomputer.Inc\nhAsusU7Camo\StockDriver \CMediaU7Camo\ directory, allowing all questions. 6) Now run CheckCMediaU7HW.msi from archive, and after this, run Setup_1.0.8.exe (if installation have been successful - you did everything right) 7) Congratulations! You can use exclusive features from U7 Echelon Edition, Sonic radar, Sonic studio Pro. But in these interface not working some switches: Audio Format Audioconfig and volume control But you can do all this in old interface, or windows mixer Checked in Windows 8.1 x64 Old interface you can download from this link: http://yadi.sk/d/EIleRy8QETgtP This interface working in any directory, desktop, Document folder.... 7. OK I'll further look into it! 60$ is a bit on the cheap side I'll see if there's anything better but thank you very much!
  8. Yeah it's Realtek. As I said,a known issue with the ModMic. Very interesting... And would you suggest that over a sound card just for the external aspect of it interference wise?
  9. Yup sounds terrible. It's really low and you need to amp the gain in order to hear anything and then it's all a static mess. Or a little too early you would say.
  10. Yeah, that's... not the problem here. But thanks, I guess. Oh I see. Well plugging the mic in the aftermarket Soundcard will let the mic be the bottleneck. Here the crummy onboard is so bad that its full of static or no ampage at all. That's why I got the Antlion. I don't know, I'm not going to get new headphones until Black Friday and unless Massdrop brings theirs out again and I can't plug a Mic in the amp/dac. Don't really see the use here.
  11. I'm planning on getting some AKG which I heard are known to be very open. But in the meanwhile I only have Astro A40s that I can switch between stereo and Surround and the difference is very noticeable. I tried a fiew months ago out of curiosity and it strengthened my opinion on positional audio in virtual surround. Unfortunately the motherboard it older than 2 years and I have already contacted the BigFoot Killer people and the Asus people about the card and they said that it probably had a bad chip. (Yeah I forgot to mention it also does network and the network cuts off or just plain doesn't work). I might not be looking for a DAC then. I just want the best mic quality possible while still being free of movement (that's why the on Headphones mic) and decent Surround. I fortunately / unfortunately am not experienced enough to discern the slight subtleties that a High end AMPDAC would bring.
  12. That first feature I do agree on is totall fluff, just like beats audio we all know just equalizer tricks. Secondly I am following this Idea: http://www.head-fi.org/t/534479/mad-lust-envys-headphone-gaming-guide-update-1-4-2015-beyerdynamic-t70-added Where the poster tried loads of stereo headsets and tried them in virtual surround. Because I'm sorry but I prefer the competitive advantage in a multiplayer game by having situationnal awareness than contemplating the cues. And yes Virtual barber shop this and that but at the end of the day I can difference Binaural "Surround" to virtual surround and that I do prefer. I know it doesn't work with all games but I always manage to get a result with way batter positionnal audio than Stereo. Do these have any extra features? Enough ports? A good Mic-in? Thx.
  13. Yeah, it's a known issue, loads of static noise because you have to amp the shit out of it. Well to my knowledge there are such things as gaming oriented sound cards, that's why creative here has a point over Asus, their card specs might not be that good but they have features a pure audio listening user would not use. Therefore it is a gaming sound card. Don't get too carried off with that term. Only some things are deliriously bad with that tag on it.
  14. Hello Audiophile Community, I have come here to seek your knowledge. I just received an Antlion Modmic 4 and realized that I was running a crappy Realtek chip all along even though it said otherwise on the Motherboard specs (Asus Crosshair formula V). I then realized why they bundled the external sound card (ROG Thunderbolt) with it but my God the user experience is terrible, cuts out once a day, software freezes, works randomly, not been updated, ... So I'm looking into buying a gaming sound card, I'm building up Stereo headphones + Virtual surround (I can't do 2.1 for games) so it needs to have the software to back it up, and I also have AudioEngine A5+ to hook up so RCA or 3.5. In summary : Virtual surround Good Mic port Headphone port RCA or 3.5 whatever is better for the speakers You guys have any ideas? Heard of Asus Xonar STX but it lacks the software and Creative Sound Blaster Z but I really have no idea what would be better for my use. My supposed Motherboard Audio specs: AudioSupremeFX X-Fi 2 built-in 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC - Supports : Jack-detection, Multi-streaming, Front Panel Jack-retasking Audio Feature : - X-Fi® Xtreme Fidelity™ - EAX® Advanced™ HD 5.0 - THX® TruStudio PRO™ - Creative ALchemy - Blu-ray audio layer Content Protection - Optical S/PDIF out port(s) at back panel Asus Xonar essence STX http://www.asus.com/Essence_HiFi_Audio/Xonar_Essence_STX/ Specs Creative Sound Blaster Z http://us.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-z Specs I think my Sound Card is barely living... Thanks for the Help!
  15. Thanks! That I did not know. He used to be way better than me but now as age goes by he starts to get slower and slower. Yeah I can understand. He's tried mechanical but wasn't savvy enough to notice the much better typing experience, so its membrane atm. If there were good cheap browns with all that I am looking for I definitely would look into it! But for now I think I'm swaying towards the CM Devastator.
