  1. Narrowed down the problem to either PSU or UPS problem, i'm trying to get voltage protector to see if the voltage in my house is very high or low (thats what I could reach out too from researching around). If my house voltage is fine then I'll buy a new psu, I don't want to buy a new one to end up having the same problem
  2. Yes the mobo has a power on button and I did try it but the result is the same (doesnt boot up) I dont have a spare PSU but I was thinking to get a new cables or even a new psu. it is a possibility that I was checking, it could be the power inverter that damaged the psu but why the pc cant start without it (this is my power inverter https://adr-technology.net/UPS-202.html ) Yes I tried swapping the power cables
  3. With not booting I mean I have no response at all, its like when ur pc is in shutdown mode (no POST). Unplugging the main power makes the power inverter uses it's battery thats automatically turns on my pc without me having to press the power button I feel its getting confusing PS. The power button functions fine I can force shut down my pc if I keep pressing it, or when the power inverter uses the battery I can only then use the power button as a way to start my pc
  4. It doesnt work without the power inverter, direct plug to the wall outlet doesnt boot it. On why I chose that psu, it was the only psu I could find at the time building my pc PS. my pc is one year old this is the first time i had a problem since i built it
  5. it's happening for a week now, I cant power up my pc from the power button on pc I'm forced to unplug the cord from the outlet to boot it up. Motherboard RGBs, GPU, USB devices (like an external hard drive) are on (what I mean by on is the lights are on when the PC is off which is totally normal for me). It started happening out of the blue, I didn't overclock CPU, GPU nor RAM, also, pc randomly shut down and won't be able to boot it until I do what I mentioned. I did test my PSU following the steps showed on this video (View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FWXgQSokF4) and the PSU worked just fine. I did reset CMOS, rest my GPU to default settings (using Asus GPU tweak) and still having the same problem, I tried to to swap RAMs, I disabled fast booting and it didnt fix it, I must mention I'm plugging my pc to the power inverter, direct plug to the wall outlet doesn't boot it, and it boots up only when I unplug power inverter, before it shut down by itself my power inverter makes a low volume sound like tik I'd appreciate any advice or help! my specs CPU: i5 9600k GPU: 2060 rog RAM: (8x2) xpg spectrix d41 3000mhz MOBO: ASUS prime z390-a COOLER: MASTERLIQUID ML120 RS SSD: SSD ADATA SU630 480GB HDD: WD Blue 1TB PSU: cooler master 750w gold
