  2. good to know! i think the ambient temp in my computer room is a little high, so im sure thats contributing to the extra heat
  3. idle is anywhere between 43-51 celcius. under load in demanding games like r6 i get up to 76-77 degrees. my old cpu never passed 51 degrees so this is hot for me. i am overclocking slighty at 4 ghz.
  4. hey all. i recently got my hands on a ryzen 5 3600x after my 2700 shit the bed after a psu meltdown. compared to my old cpu, this one is an absolute inferno in my system. im not sure if its my setups causing so much heat or its just the cpu itself runs super hot. i tredi using 2 fans on my noctua nh-d14 cooler but it creates a whining noise in push/pull over 600rpm. any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. my setup is: bequiet dark base 700 asus rog b450-f gaming noctua nh-d14 cooler with 1 fan msi duke 1080ti ryzen 5 3600x fans: 2x140mm intake 3x120mm exhaust (top) 1x140mm exhaust (back) cheers

  6. any suggestions on a proper upgrade for my gpu?
  7. hey everybody. first post here in relation to my gpu issues. my current pc setup is a asus a320i-k with a ryzen 7 1800x, trident z g-skill 3000 (16gb) and a gigabyte 1060 3gb. when playing games i usually end up at 99 percent gpu usage and only 25-30% cpu usage. i often drop below 60 fps which become very annoying and is effecting my performance in games. is my gpu being bottlenecked in this situation? not sure how to fix my problem. seems like i will have to get a more powerful card if it is found to be bottlenecking my cpu. any help is appreciated! included a pic of my system becasue why not
