  2. Well just cause it’s better, that doesn’t mean I need to get it right now. If I can save the $60 I’d like to. I’m just trying to figure out if the 3200g will do what I need it to do without issue, or if what I’m trying to do is too intensive for it and would require the 3400g.
  3. @dbpx2 yes, but why? I understand that it is a better cpu and igpu, but I don’t understand why it’s better and by what margin compared to the 3200g.
  4. I need some help understanding the Ryzen 3 3200g and Ryzen 5 3400g. I am building a new pc and I have all of my parts picked out except for the cpu. I have a thermaltake 80+ White 500w power supply, a gigabyte 540m DS3H motherboard, 16GB (2x8) ddr4 3600mhz cl16 G-Skill ram, and an adata ssd. But, I am trying to decide if it is worth the extra $60 to buy the 3400g cpu with the Vega 11 graphics. All I need this computer to do is run Minecraft, edit 1080p video, and occasionally run photoshop, but it will mostly be used for school and as a home file manager. I don’t game or watch 4K videos. But I do want to run Parsec and use this pc via my cheap surface pro 2 laptop when I’m on the go. Do I really need the 3400g? Or will the 3200g with the Vega 8 graphics do the trick? Big thanks to anyone who can shed some light on these processors.
  5. yes that is exactly what i had in mind. i will look into that. thank you so much @minibois
  6. Not sure if this is the right place to go, but i need help. I am trying to set up my computer in a way to be able to run a program where the keyboard will type out a series of commands on a loop. I am trying to have it do this: up arrow, Shift + f10, down arrow, enter, enter, and then a 20 second delay before starting the cycle over again. If anyone has any advice on a program that can do this or has the knowhow to create one, any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
