Ok, cool. Because the difference in price b/t the one I was gonna go with and the "flashy" one is only 10 bucks so It's no skin off my nose if it won't do the 3000 over the 2666. Thanks!

I did check the QVL list and it is not on there, but that's why I'm asking if it will still work the way it's supposed to, just with the speed being limited to the 2666. The board is nothing special, so no OC abilities.

I wanna upgrade and add some flash to my setup, will this memory work in this motherboard? i know the MB can only go as fast as 2666, BUT can I put the slightly faster memory in and have it still work, just at the slower speed? thanks.

Mods, I wasn't sure where to put this, so if this is the wrong place, please move. So i recently posted here about getting a graphics card and got the one that was recommended(love it, so far), a radeon rx 570. After installing it and hooking it up to my samsung smart tv, a day later now I ran into a problem that may be related to the graphics card. I have a visio soundbar hooked up through ARC, buty now the TV won't even recognize that it has the ability to use ARC. As in the option that was there to switch to the soundbar via HDMI is not even there anymore. Any ideas fellas? also I do have my sound output on my computer set to a sound device other than the video card. ninja edit: I just did a simple trouble shoot that I probably should have done before posting and for that I'm sorry, but I just unplugged the tv from the computer and the option to switch back to ARC came back. new question now though: why? why does hooking my comp to my tv remove the ARC sound output option from the tv? Why the hell are they so expensive now? it was 50 bucks brand new and now some people want upwards of $100 u.s. for the damn thing! was hoping to get one for like 10-20 bucks, not get buttraped. So, anyone know why these things are so expensive now? also wanted to get the arc mouse to go with it. edit: just looked up the arc mouse prices, 65 bucks! WTH!?

Cool, thanks guys. is there a version of this card that has two hdmi ports? I don't really have any that uses displayport and I'd be good if I had 2 of them for both my my monitors.

Looking to spend about 80-120 U.S. I want to be able to have the adjustability that come with the software it comes with and have games playable on mid to lower settings. I will also consider used and refurbished cards too if they come from reputable places.
