Anmol Gupta's Achievements

  1. As it turns out, i did receive yet another lemon of a graphics card from Asus. I Tried a different GPU on my system that worked perfectly, confirming that all other components in my PC are running correctly. To confirm this i also tested the faulty GPU on a friends system and the same issue was observed. I have now gone in for my second RMA, hoping for the best.
  2. They did replace the card, Replaced card although 'used' has a different serial number from my original card.
  3. I want to rule out any other possibilities before going in for RMA again. Like software issues or maybe PSU or PCIE slot related.
  4. My PC crashed while gaming and rebooted several times. After the reboot , the following issues came up: 1. Jagged horizontal lines are being displayed on screen during boot, during windows interface and even in safe mode. These lines disappear is BIOS and if the monitor is directly connected to the MoBo. Also, when taking a screenshot, the lines are not visible. 2. NVIDIA settings/ control panel is not detected 3. Windows device manager detects graphic card but is displaying 'Error Code 43' I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps : 1. Physically removed and reseated the GPU after removing any dust. 2. Reconnected and replaced all cables from GPU to PSU or Monitor 3. Updated Windows 4. Uninstalled drivers through DDU app 5. Updated / Rollback Drivers 6. Updated BIOS 7. Re-Installed Windows After going through the above troubleshooting steps, the problem still persisted. SO assuming this was a hardware issue, I sent in my GPU for RMA with Asus. I was provided with a replacement card through Asus, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS ! Im lost at this point. Can anyone help? My Specs: Motherboard - ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero (Wifi AC) (Black) GPU (Graphics Card) - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 - ASUS Dual OC CPU - Intel Core i9-9900k 8-Core 3.6GHz CPU Cooling - NZXT Kraken X62 Power Supply - NZXT E850 Gold Digital PSU RAM - G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) 3200MHz SSD - Intel 660p 1TB
  5. Is it possible to get full performance from my old GTX 1070ti mounted in an eGPU enclosure and plugged to my high refresh rate display in my living room through my current laptop (i7 and 16 gb ram) when needed without actually setting up a dedicated system to play AAA titles at high FPS Please see image below for further clarity.
